2.5 years for DUI? Is it that strict in that state?

I had people I use to work with at the same company tell me they had 3 DUIs and could not drive for 5 years and they were all pissed. I think there was three of them.

According to the history outlined in her rap sheet, it looks like she received probation for aggravated DUI. But then she had multiple probation violations, and eventually absconded all together (quit reporting). That's what led to the prison sentence, not the DUI itself.
