The fucking greed of Disney. They just can't wait to get Darth Vader back on the big screen.

Forget story, forget quality, just find a way to revive Darth Vader.

After about 5 years from now when Disney saturates the market with so many new Star Wars films, the magic will be gone and then Disney won't stop pushing it until there is a weekly Star Wars TV series on a major prime time network. Then it will be an embarrassment to be a Star Wars fan.

Disney is going to grind Star Wars into the ground. 5 to 8 years from now, easily.

Well, I'm not eager to see "Rogue One" given the content of the trailer. The plain-jane lead, the evil people with British accents (how original), what looks like leftover battle footage from "Force Awakens"

Is it a theatrical release? The graphics look more like they belong in some early 2000s 90s tv show and acting seems amateurish. Then again TFA made a shitton of money ripping off AnH with a dash of tumblr so there you go.

The prequels were shitty but at least they had a somewhat original storyline and didn't have an iridescent aluminum bitch stormtrooper to lecture me about "muh equality".

An original storyline is pointless if what you are watching for 2hrs each time looks like absolute like an absolute hideous mess...


And the less said about the "acting" the better...

All these producers now are trying so hard to be politically correct, they are afraid to cast a white male lead. God forbid a white guy be in the lead, when there are plenty of black male actors and white women actors ready to go.

The music industry is just the same now. Mainly female lead singers and black male rappers.

White leads are going the way of the Do Do.

I agree. The Force Awakens made me appreciate the prequels more. I thought they were piles of crap, but original story telling is important.

Take The Clone Wars and make those into films and you would have something. Anakin's apprentice in that is fucking awesome.

(Anyone see the Cliffhanger ending of Rebels? Wild. But it's sad when the animated "kids" shows are doing a better job of original story telling then the films, isn't it?)
