At the end of 6 weeks, Eva returned to Czech and I thought she was gone for good. :(

Then over Xmas my brother and I were out shopping, when we returned to his home my Mother said there was some strange Swedish girl trying to phone me. I asked if she was Czech and me Mum said something to the effect of who knows. I waited by the phone and it was Eva. My brother and mum lived in OC California and the phone call must have cost her a fortune!!

I've seen the business go from respecting the product, the people who bought it to a business that's main concern is driving traffic to sell ad space.

A business where I sold sample tapes in there 1,000s for $8 to one where there's more on a major tube that any pornsite.

Eva had returned, we had fallen deeper in love and I proposed. We married less than a year of meeting. My pals inthe business thought Eva had done it to get a Visa, I had done it for the sex. My family thought I was making another mistake. Eva was my third wife. I did get nervous on the big day. We moved to Czech less than 3 months later. 20+ years later we're still in love.

Back to creating porn.

We had good contacts for finding models in Brno, so chose there over Prague. We advertised in the local and national papers with something like this.


The phone rang about three times a day and nearly all the girls turned up. The response was amazing. Anyone who knows Czech girls knows the quality was high much higher than the UK.

What I couldn't get was their reluctance to do GG or use vibrators. Eva would show them what fun vibrators were but couldn't get many to do GG. Also I quickly learnt that people in poorer countries are less willing to be bought. In London the pressures to earn money are everywhere, in Czech 1999 there was no such pressure. So girls would onlydo what they wanted and couldn't be persuaded with more cash.

It's changed 20 plus years later.

I immediately realised the girls we were finding were great for magazines and crap for video, unless they were already doing it. The girls were more fun, sexier, better looking and reliable, in that they turned up.

As the only money in video those days was in Hardcore porn we set about shooting sets at a phenomenal rate. Models, M/U, film, location, etc costs about $500 to $1,000 a day so shooting 20 sets a month, with 6 months before payment (if accepted) soon put pressure on our accounts. But the minimum we could earn on a set was $1,000 and the maximum $8,000, with first rights in the US and UK and various European countries and some sales in AU or Japan. Then second rights.

I had a great relationship with my bank manager who allowed me an overdraft so we could continue working. Soon magazines like Escort, Razzle, Fiesta, New Talent, etc soon were full of my sets. Editors liked the fresh girls, never to be repeated models, smiling faces we were getting. America followed afterwards, more magazines, longer publication time.

And by now I knew every pose the magazines and readers wanted for the different publications.

I don't need it, too ill to do it and the desire to work has gone. I'm 70 years old and have been retired for over ten years now.
