50 scary situations.
heal up |
Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Thanks very much for the suppository update. If you wouldn't mind keeping a bowel diary it would be appreciated. We all want you to get well, but only CurrentlySober wants you to PM the diary ;)
Get well soon. |
Vtac happens, and happens for a lot of reasons. 200 is high, and that sucks and causes panic but that's likely not an underlying cardiac issue, it's possible it was systemic response to drugs or an effect from the drugs on something else.
Vtac that makes me tinkle in my pants is 300. Time to feel some pain through cardioversion. Likely they gave you some amioderone and called it a day. (at least that's what I'd do... then prepare for pacing) What I am saying is I don't think you have a heart condition as a result of, nor caused by anything other than perhaps some polypharm during surgery/recovery. EDIT: Though I don't know your history at all and I am assuming you are otherwise a healthy individual. I mean... you could be in shitty health and that was a precursor event. Fuck if I know. :/ |
wow, didnt see this until now. Feel Good CD!!
|
Hope you get well soon man !
|

I live!
Operation wasn't too bad this time. Left leg pain totally gone. I do have some lingering nerve damage though, I can't yet walk properly, have no use of my left ankle at all. But I made it. Still in the hosp. posting from my sis's laptop. Physio and rehab therapies have begun, not sure how long it'll be yet but I think I actually may be "out of the woods" as it were. Thank you all for the great well-wishes. |
you know we are all waiting the new NFL season to start

That's good to hear. Being out of pain sounds good.Your ankle will get stronger with time probably. Too bad they didn't get it right the first time. Doctors and Lawyers get paid regardless of the results (usually, :upsidedow ''unforeseen circumstances ...)

He's BA-aaaaaak
Home now. Finally. After 45 days and two agonizing back surgeries I'm home. Actually got home this past Friday but have been too weak to even sit at the computer.
I'll admit it ... this ordeal really knocked the piss out of me. Walking with a cane now, my ankle and left foot have no movement. Docs expect the feeling to return but it could take up to 1-2 years. Or never. Anyway I'm feeling slightly better today. Quote:

Only time will tell if the feeling and movement comes back. I hear it can take up to 2 years for nerve damage to heal. |
Best of luck for a speedy recovery. Keep your head up!
