Right, am I supposed to feel bad for all those Sanders debt forgiveness hippies who spent 8 years in college getting their 18th century literature or pottery design degrees? Fuck that, let them squeal.

this is what I heard about british social welfare. I heard also that its so advanced that some less demanding nations outside of Europe basically live off it, having children, sucking benefits for all thats possible and so on.

dont know if its 100 % true or no, but probably there is a grain of true in it.

yeah that's not far off the mark... it's pretty fucked up. Ofc not everyone is like that, but.. the whole thing is screaming out for change... back to my original point.. I'm ok but many aren't, and while I don't actually vote, or (believe it or not) really get involved much in politics (I enjoy reading the threads to pass time between tasks though), I just cannot wrap my head around "I'm fine, so it must be working great" mentality.

Something will give, whether it's trump getting in in the usa, the far right getting in in the UK, or a shit ton of discontent rioting... aside from the usual conspiracy theories and associated whackos, more people are realising how corrupt and old-boy-network, money wins politics, shady deals, ridiculous law-making, bureacrocy for the sake of it to make sure those jobs are created, and all the rest of the shit... millions/billions/trillions of taxpayer dollars out of workers' pockets... obviously it's always gone on to some extent, but there comes a point where it's too much of a piss-take.

Anyway, typed far too much in this thread, about 3 months worth of text so far lol. No easy answers, and at the end of the day, reality is I'll be looking out for me and mine above everyone else :)

Nope, and nor do I, but you're a fucking idiot if you think those are the ones I'm talking about. Oh wait, you've proved you're a fucking idiot since you started posting here.

Fucking dense cunt, *that*s what you got from reading my posts? Jesus christ...

Why?

We do this every four years - demand change. It's like clock work.

Why do we need change? We have removed ourselves from two never ending wars, unemployment is 2001 levels, the economy is moving in the right direction, and the only real threat to the United States (ISIS) is being reduced and has lost a lot of territory in the past year - without US boots on the ground. Seriously, WTF do we need change for?

It's the Republicans right now who are shouting the loudest - They say such nonsense like "Our country is fucked up". Really? Yes, we need change. We need to go back to the way it was, when unemployment was 12%, people were loosing their jobs and their houses, gas was $5 a gallon, and we were loosing thousands of American lives in foreign countries that no one really gives a rat's ass about. Yes, we need change. We need to back to 2008.

What kind of a change do we need? Do we want unemployment to go back up? Do we want people to lose their jobs, and their houses? Do we want to go back to more needless wars?

There is a whole generation, maybe even 2 or 3 generations, that have been spoonfed the idea of "go to college and life will be great." Somewhere along the line they forgot the whole part about "learning marketable skills" and instead of becoming GOOD at something, they spent 5 (not 4) years pulling out as much money in loans as possible with no fiscal responsibility clinging on to the "American Dream" (this is not the real American Dream) with their fingers crossed that someday they will get a good paying job and their financial irresponsibilities will go flying out the fairytale window.

Sue me for having little sympathy.

Everyone is not meant for college. There is absolutely nothing wrong with not going to college. It doesn't mean you're stupid, it doesn't mean you're not useful to society, it does not mean you are a loser.

The minute society allows this fact to settle in and take hold, fewer unqualified people will go to college, college will be cheaper for the qualified people and they will then get an even better education. Will this cause an educational and societal gap because the smart will be getting smarter and the "dumb" will be staying the same? We already have that gap, why continue stuffing this ideological dream down kids throats and instead finally get over this wave of mediocrity we have somehow deemed acceptable by bolstering our strengths and minimizing our weaknesses.

if you complain about burreuacracy and tax system in UK, I guess that you never been to Spain, France or Poland....basically over there they will rob you of 50 % what you earn that way or another...
and burreaucracy in Spain ? god damn...you should see it...
but the plus is that overall it is great, beautiful country with really nice people and good food:thumbsup
speaking about Elites...

I wonder what David Cameron meant here when he told that Nigeria and Afghanistan are "fantastically" corrupt countries... heh, Im not native English speaker, but...does it mean that it is fantastically easy to corrupt them and get their resources ? :winkwink::winkwink:

I have no idea on those countries so don't comment... and anyway, because some ELSE is doing things wrong, that doesn't mean I should too, and escape criticism.

The implication would be that applies to Sanders. I'm unaware of any movement to forgive college debt, but I pay more attention to Sanders than his followers.

That was my point. 8th year seniors who thinks its about debt forgiveness not common sense and responsibility. Am I supposed to feel bad for them? Fuck no.

In keeping with the original spirit of this thread...

He's a pathological liar, or senile. This Colbert video is from months ago and doesn't even cover the many inconsistencies of statements recently.
He's not even a good liar, because he doesn't keep track of the shit that comes out his mouth.

Here's more illustrating what a fucking dumb ass clown he is. This stupid thing will go into the WHite House after Obama? Please, no.

:1orglaugh You secrete such an endless flow of utter horseshit that dribbles out of your proverbial mouth every time you post, you must do a fortune in toilet paper...

Everyone who is in recovery is still on that road regardless how long it's been dipshit. More clueless cunt speak from you as per usual, to follow on with your inability to separate what I said in this very thread, from the irrelevant shit you keep posting in this same thread :upsidedow

Can you point out where anyone said about feeling sorry "for all those Sanders debt forgiveness hippies who spent 8 years in college getting their 18th century literature or pottery design degrees?" ? Stay on point, moron.

Comprehension is not your strong point, is it :1orglaugh

Now go fuck yourself, illiterate, straw-clutching, pick-random-shit-out-your-ass-and-run-with-a-statement-nobody-but-yourself-brought-up, unable to stay on topic or address what was actually said, retarded, attention-seeking cunt
