Blame the parents! not the gorilla, not the shooter nor the kid of course.

I was thinking that maybe a Tranquilizer dart would have saved the Gorilla, it might not have acted fast enough, and it might make him crazy, and that might make the situation worse. Perhaps legally, or for insurance reasons, they had to act fast, and use a bullet. |
Watched a Swedish TV series shot in Thailand on Netflix....a 7 year old told this joke in one of the epsiodes:
A woman beaten to a pulp is lying in the street bleeding...a policeman walks by pretending not to notice, then a priest walks by also not noticing, then a psychology expert walks by stops and leans towards the woman...."the guy who did this to you really needs help" No differnce here even 7 year old new better..:2 cents: |

Wrong gorilla was killed for sure

Humans are stupid. They enslaved the gorilla to entertain other humans then killed it for being itself.
How do you value a life? Am I supposed to value humans above all else because I am human? Well, I'm also a mammal. Other mammals are not competing with us for resources like other humans are. Plus, there are over 50,000 times more humans than gorillas. It's like comparing a penny and $500 - then trying to convince people that pennies are more valuable for some emotional reason. |

Before they come to lock me up I should say I don't value the gorilla's life more than the kid's. Having not known either existed until recently; I value them both equally. Which is basically not at all. I was shocked by this news and I feel bad for everyone involved. Especially the child, his mother, the gorilla and his keeper; The ones closest to the victims who were personally affected. Isn't that how our value system works? The people and animals closest to us get the most love while others shouldn't matter so much.

life sucked for that gorilla being confined. maybe the hope is that gorilla was put out of his misery.
