3 of 5 are up! At least they're the moneymakers. Good job so far...
Working for me
Has anyone with shared plans noticed a resumption in service? I have a few and there's no indication of service having been restored.
Anyone still without service?
No service here. Fucking bullshit.
Looks like their routing is not set up yet. I have some up and some down even on the same server.
I'm so far behind on everything I didn't see the email either. |
why people just don't get a real host? :error

Still down. Fucking beautiful.

Most of mine are up just a few down
Some sort of hardware issue now that they are "working on". Would be nice if they'd just update and say exactly what the problem is. Obviously never learned from last time.
The ones that are down are all database related
I am still down. Shit
Two servers, both down
Im still down and not got a reply to ticket
i've been up the last 14 or so hours.. on a vps server.. IDK i still think as a whole the server is a great company cause compared to past hosts they have treated me well . more people are apt to post negatives about something..

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SITES
Just a suggestion to check your sites to make sure your server code is working properly and your content is appearing as it should. My Amerinoc server went back up yesterday after being down over 12 hours. Once I saw one of my sites resolve and start showing again I thought "phew" that's good... and went out about my Saturday. Server settings were changed. WTF. I just realized a few minutes ago that my server settings changed after the move and the php setting "allow_url_fopen" was reset to FALSE. that means some of my most important ads weren't showing for over 20 hours :Oh crap Just created a ticket, let's see how long it takes to get my server back working properly. not cool Amerinoc. I presently use 2 other hosting companies (cyberwurx, m3server) who I've been with for years and havent had downtime drama with them like this twice in a couple of months. The ones I have in the past (webair, serverprovider cough, cough) I got rid of... whats really annoying is the Amerinoc invoices come in like clockwork with not a peep about a discount for being down/inconvenience. :disgust Anyone who submits a ticket within 48 hours after the move with a server issue should get an automatic 10% discount, just as a way of showing u give a fuck that you're inconveniencing your customers.:2 cents:. The only thing that hasn't reached the threshold point yet is the time and annoyance of moving everything over to another server... |

I have 3 dedicated servers with Amerinoc for few years, those boxes are setup in complicated ways and never had a problem. Downtime actually happen everywhere, look at yearly basis, any hosts will give u a few down time, but those probably short even u would forgive them. Amerinoc had a network problem with its network provider last time, so they decide to move the datacenter to somewhere which could provide them with a more reliable network, an email sent out few weeks ago detailing the reason of moving, its a solution to solve even the possibility of that 0.05 % downtime. I think Amerinoc is a serious business.
Of course a discount is cool, but right now they should be focusing on fixing the mess, at least they trying to get everything back on track and everyone is relieved and happy. Who knows if they would send out some promos or discount later? I also look into other hostings, but I tend to go with technicians, since I have been working with staff in Amerinoc, I know which ones are helpful and would solve my problems, so I tend to go back to them for all these years. Finally, Amerinoc offers better than competitive prices, I mean, those rate they are just giving out bandwith for free. But one thing I dont really like is that Amerinoc staff are mostly remote, which means they dont work in the facility. I dont know how the company run, but most of the response from the support are remote staff, which mean they are like middle men. Anyways, those are my honest reviews for Amerinoc. |
