Look at all the top selling porn sites. They all have one thing in common. A product that's shaped to meet consumers likes and needs. Not one of them could survive on traffic alone. Which is why after the boom years webmasters were needed less and less.
Today apart from building sites after someone has told them what to build, or the design is done. All they can do is drive traffic to the sites that convert the best after they've analysed the stats telling them what porn people like.
This doesn't mean everyone who drives traffic is just a webmaster, there has to be that element of a pornographer in them to know what sells best in their niche.
Even if Barry, Porn Nerd, Jel, get people to sign up as affiliates. It's no help if customers don't consume and pay for their products. As marketing and salesman, I know this, as webmasters they think it's a result.
We can judge by their product and/or refusal to discuss it's benefits how well they're doing. With Stripperweb we can tell how webcam models react when offered too little money to work on some sites. And the opposite reaction when some sites pay them well.
That's where webcam sites should be getting the best exposure, get the product right and the affiliates who join will stay driving traffic. A marketing and salesman would know this, a webmaster doesn't.
