Some of the weights those guys lift, there is no way they are all natural. Plenty of competitors juice, until they get caught. Steroids are widespread in almost every event, especially in a competition like weightlifting. I don't care if they juice anyways, its impressive either way.

Neither, apparently. He/she/it has a condition known as "hyper-androgynism" which means her body naturally produces a high rate of testosterone, yet she's female, thus qualifies to compete in female competitions... with all the advantages of a man.

At one point in recent years there was a rule levied against 'her' that said 'she' had to take a drug that suppresses testosterone in her system, but that judgement was later overturned on appeal due to human rights violations.

While I agree there is a human rights aspect to her case I have to admit part of me says if she's allowed to compete then every other female competitor who races against her should be allowed to up their testosterone levels as well. That's assuming they want to all end up looking like freakazoid menosaurs.

I dislike this methodology of ranking. Just look at Italy - medal pot is WAY better than Korea, but it is lower.

Lets rank medals by points, something like gold 3, silver 2, bronze 1.

They should merge the main Olympic sports into one - "Olympism" - and standardize their world and continental championships. It would be a genuine rival to soccer's dominance around the world.
