By your argument all truth and transparency is never bad, and Assange is a hero. All should be forgiven when he recklessly releases personal information on private, law abiding citizens, it's the price we pay for Assange exposing governments. Great! Sorry, but you are comparing apples and oranges. We clearly just have a difference of opinion. I believe in the right to privacy, you, Mr. Assange, and a lot of governments don't. His own quote is that "Privacy is gone, and it will not come back, short of a very regressive economic collapse which reduces the economic capacity of civilization." Therefore he is able to justify releasing any personal, private information he sees fit regardless of the consequences.
