I got listed on the hun once all it did was eat up a ton of bandwidth and not one sign up. I have a real respect for you guys who make money off of TGP because we post on some them and it doesnt bring shit.

Tuga - yes gallery with thumbs can take ~100kb of course, but if u have 20 pics each 30-40k total usage will be around 200kb.
About 10-12% of pics an average surfer is checking out. Can vary.

adamneve - doing 1:170 on hun means nothing. doing $1k from one listing means good marketing.

But did they tell you to put "Free Movie Bananza"? The bottom line is conversion ratio is mostly in your own hand.. it's the way you promote a site. Now, about the bookmarks.. I get over 50% of my sign-ups from BookMarkers. If surfers like a site they will bookmark and come back later to sign-up depending on how apealing the tour is. The sites I promote do just that.

I think 1:1000 is not a bad conversion ratio, seems average. Different types of traffic convert at different ratios, but overall in general 1:1000 is to be expected.

Lower conversions from SE traffic (1:250), and higher conversions from shit traffic like Exits and TGPs (1:2000). :2 cents:
