I believe your history is off ... USA bombed the shit out of Hanoi and most of Cambodia and later Baghdad more then once well after 1949.

People are more likely to pick up weapons and go right back to it.

You either have total destruction and a population who admits defeat, or you have what we have now.

You just proved my point honestly, that bombing them to ruble will not stop them but makes it worse.

Look at Isreal as perfect example. They bulldoze houses bomb the shit out of them and they come back for more.

Clearly the bombs do not work.. Meaning Russia/Assad are just creating g more and more terrorist..

Yes, I believe that Moscow is the best city not just in Russia, but in the World. However, it doesn't mean that other Russian cities are bad. In contrast to you, I travel a lot and I've been to many countries and to many places. Only in your country I've been to 9 different states. So I've seen a lot to compare.
