Sid, you want a windows, an alternative to Mac.

Model

A super impressive piece of machinery. To look at, it's art & to work with, it's components could come from Nasa & run a space station :winkwink:

A beautiful laptop, a hardworking grafter :thumbsup

Thanks for your suggestion. But, obviously, it's not the case for me.

no, mate, 21" is the minimal 1920 x 1080 option for a graphic designer.

Dude: The iPad Pro has 2732-by-2048 resolution. PLUS, it's portable, AND its wireless, AND it's easy to use. (And, this works with Windows too).

If you don't want people to give you alternative ideas to what you're looking for, don't ask, and don't dismiss ideas without at least doing a bit of research on your own. Google is your friend.

Your input was highly appreciated until it went ballistic, mate. Graphic design needs larger screens. That's a must. I believe there was a final point where I posted about going with i7 8GB macbook air and 21" slick screen.

It's simply hard to work with SMALL objects, small physically.

Apparently, you are so sensitive :)

Ask the natives.

Whoever fucked you out to this world most likely was involved into native American carnage.
Go fuck yourself.

If he was able to count 1+1 he would have studied or asked about immigration rules / policy.
But he can only post shit. I so love retards judging, not knowing a thing, living their delusional life.

If you going to spend 3K plus you should be buying the real thing not a wannabe.

wannabe? it's a 4k acer laptop with an amazing cooling system. It's got anything and more. Nothing much better than the graphics card, superior ram available & the screen's better color in & outdoors than most peoples TV's do.

Nothing about that laptop that says "wannabe" :2 cents:

It's not THAT simple. I am a designer. I don't do budgets and tech specs. I do feelings and visuals. There is no other computer that can be compared to apple. Tho, I still count if that is really what I NEED to have. I'd rather save extra $500 and travel than put it all into a computer.

The outcome is:

Macbook air i7 8GB RAM + 21,5" Dell monitor.

/OP thread

Sort of this, but with smaller screen and macbook air instead of new macbook, so, slightly cheaper version.

P.S.: Morons, who hi jacked my post with their negative energy now can go fuck themselves.

fris 10-10-2016 09:01 AM

i would go with macbook pro with 16gb ram over the air, if you need stuff like photoshop, and after effects.

if you dont want a mac and want a windows laptop, for around the same quality as a macbook, go with the hp spectre, really fast and really nice machine. 3 seconds to bootup to windows 10 which is nice.

Pro is definitely nice, but not that slick design wise. PC wise - never heard of any one to be that silent for years like my 6 year old 13" macbook pro.

Thanks.

fris 10-10-2016 10:09 AM

also if you dont need a laptop, i would go with a 27" imac, its what i use, the late 2015 5k 27" model, with the upgraded cpu to i7 4.0ghz, upgraded video card to 4gb, and upgraded memory to 64gb, does after effects, autocad, and photoshop really quickly.

but of course for that upgrades you would be paying a lot more.

Right, good options no doubt. I want to stay mobile, I'd buy both if i had a budget. But mobile comes first.

Please, use google translate if you are unable to write properly, школота.

There is no alternative.

Correct. And it sucks. I want to believe Apple is working on a new 17" version. I envision it to be a large macbook air kind.

Sid70 10-11-2016 09:16 AM

WOW!
