The reason the EC exists is so that votes outside the inner cities count.

Please don't stoop to your usual calling me a Trumper, I didn't vote for him, AND I think he is a Buffoon, but stop bringing up stupid shit, this is not a popular vote democracy, and thats a good thing to because if so, 50% of the white, bigot, asshats that live in this country could vote minorites have no rights again

You're right.

One thought. This election shows that the majority voted against racism, xenophobia, degrading women, etc. but the electoral college system is forcing those on the majority.

Maybe it's time to legislate that electoral college votes must submit to the majority now.

I peacefully protested once when I was younger.

These protests burning, breaking, etc., totally unacceptable and they should be arrested & charged.

You should spend some time and educate yourself on how the Electoral College works and why it was set up that way.

This constant whining about the popular vote is getting old. Its not how the system works.

Foreigner who is obsessed with America, you've clearly read my other posts on the electoral college today & yesterday. Don't misrepresent my viewpoint idiot. All you do is copy others and paste its so strange. Nothing original just taken from others.

BTW I'm just being snarky, not hateful, just in case there's something lost in translation :thumbsup

Your facts are incorrect.

Over 400,000 more people voted for Hillary Clinton, Trump lost the popular vote to a liberal Democrat woman. The majority of Americans rebuked your racism, fascism, xenophobia & sexism :thumbsup

I'm down for being proud to be white, black, Asian etc but white power, black power etc is just stupid & ignorant you'll fail with that hater :thumbsup

Unfortunately Obama and the media have taken the game too far. And it is a fucking game to them. First it was BLM and now these cry baby protests. It's only a matter of time before one of those two crosses the wrong person or persons. And they know it. Until then they just keep fanning the flames.

BLM had good intentions but was hijacked by militants with bad intentions.

The protesters have a right to protest, just like your side would be protesting if Trump lost. The fucked up "protesters" breaking shit & obstructing need to be arrested and charged.

The negligent media, on both sides, are fanning the flames for ratings $$$ & giving liberals the false hope of turning the electoral college around.

When I was in college first thing our civics teacher taught us was to read two media sources from right, left & middle. Balance your Infowars with other sources with different viewpoints.

Keep thinking that. I just hope your safe space is as safe as mine. :1orglaugh

BTW I watched Bill Maher tonight. None of them had any fucking clue, ended up arguing with each other and his entire panel was Democrat. So I do listen to both sides. I'm not left or right. I don't like Trump. I like the fact that it fucked the left and it was a Go Fuck Yourself to the establishment as Maher said.

Yeah I think IRL we have a lot more in common than you realize, I tried explaining that before, and you're likely not a dick it's just easy for you to be one here and project shit on me and others you pretend are some weird enemy. I'm not a leftist liberal but it's carthartic for you to project me as one and I get that.

Yet you don't see that labeling anyone that doesn't agree with you is a racist. xenophobic, woman hater? Or that that same line is being spewed by the left ALL DAY LONG.

Voting for Trump was a kick in the teeth for the Establishment who decided you elect Clinton.

She promised to change nothing because that would mean undoing the work she had done over the previous 26 years. During that time more Americans have become poorer in real terms. The Working Class and lower Middle Class have seen their incomes shredded, many losing decent jobs and replaced will low wage jobs or benefit checks. There are 11 million unemployed and only 4 million jobs available.

That's because the US has stopped being a country that primarily sells and become one of biggest customers for the Third World.

Who in the US benefits from this?

Household incomes show that those in the bottom 60th percentile have lost out. Only those in the top 20% have gained. Those in the top 1% are the real winners.

Why? Because you are blinkered and voting for the people who only care about the 1%. Voting for Trump is the first step, how many sitting politicians got voted back in? Washington doesn't fear you enough to do what you need to be done.

Even though a few of you are keeping pace with the costs of living. All it takes is the next banking crisis to put an end to that. Of course, the continual erosion of your customer base will screw you in the end.

We all know Trump is the wrong man. He would never have been allowed to get the nomination if he was the right man. The billionaires are the most shocked of all of us.

Nope it's a sign of sick and fucking tired of hearing it. I'll tell you the same thing I told a female friend of 20+ years that I've been arguing with who now lives in LA. If you want things to change quit fucking pointing fingers and take your ass down to the protests and preach to those folks before shit gets out of control. Just an FYI she hasn't done it. My guess is you won't either.

They voted to be poorer. How many of those protesters are as well off as they were in 2008?

Better to split the EC votes by the split in the State.

That would have still given it to the billionaire's girl. Because you vote for them.

I'm sick of this in Europe as well as America. We're told, migrants contribute and given no hard facts over how much and how. Just having a job doesn't mean a person contributes, we know migration is holding down wages, many of the jobs done by migrants can be done by natives of the country. We know the UK can't afford to build enough houses, schools, hospitals, etc. To keep pace with the growing population. We know second and third generation migrants are more likely to be poor and unemployed.

Say anything against uncontrolled migration and one is labelled a racist. While ethnic minority Brits suffer the worse.

We're told EU membership is essential for the economy. EU membership has made more Brits poorer than it has made richer.

We're told the EU is democratic. At the moment it's making moves to stop other countries having a referendum. It ignored those in France and the Netherlands and told Eire to go back and have another one when the Irish returned the wrong vote. No EU country has been allowed to vote on expansion because the fear is they will vote against the wishes of the people. There's no way the EU would have been allowed to give membership to Bulgaria, Romania or even think of including Turkey.

We have to vote out the politicians who don't do the will of the people. That includes Hillary.

Well I live in Orange County, the most conservative part of California that votes Republican, they call it the Orange Curtain. I hate LA I live an hour and a half south of LA we are like another world of rural beach areas and golf courses like the one I live off of. Republicans, including Trump, were here for some gathering a few months ago. So I wouldn't have much in common with a liberal living in LA who knows protestors, I don't know any sorry.

If I did know protesters I'd let the law arrest the destructive obstructive ones and the others speak their mind until they're tired. Trump won nobody's gonna change that. When my kid would cry I'd let him cry a while and get it out of his system. I don't think coddling people to stop their crying is good, I think it's what creates extreme left liberals who need safe spaces and other weird shit.

If Trump had made his comments only towards the illegal migrant Mexicans and emphasised the Latinos and Blacks are the worse hit by America's policy of exporting jobs. He would have walked into the White House.

Early data suggest a clear majority of white women voted Republican, and supporters say Trump?s offensive remarks didn?t affect their decision

It seems the media got it very wrong.

Yep probably. The 2 reasons I switched parties this election are because of 1) his random hate speech over & over again & 2) his personal fiscal irresponsibility going bankrupt 4 times with so many of his businesses closing their doors. If you bankrupt Your own businesses multiple times you'll bankrupt the country. Just my way if seeing it anyway. Now that he won let's hope I was wring.

I was willing to overlook his multiple lawsuits as a unique billionaire businessman issue, but not the other two points.

Hate speeches???
He should have said illegal migrants are not the best. Which is true because the best can get a visa and green card. Muslims should be barred from entering a country unless they can prove they're not indoctrinated and will not indoctrinate their children, as for crimes by Muslims in Western Countries with a high Muslim population. Do the research on crimes by ethnicity and find out how they fair.

Bankruptcy.
At the present rate of debt, the US is governed by the lenders. The US has the highest debt to GDP peacetime level ever. It will be bankrupt if lenders stop handing over more money.

The reasons the high debt are simple.
Too many jobs are going overseas.
Over $1,000,000,000,000 is spent on Social Security.
Over $1,000,000,000,000 Medicare because of the overpriced healthcare system. Does that include what you pay for private insurance?
Also as Trump pointed out the US pays too much to police other people's countries.

Also, not enough is collected in taxes. Not only are they too low to run a modern country, too many are out of a job, or on wages too low to contribute and there are too many loopholes in the system that allows tax dodgers to evade.

Clinton is part of the system that's running the US down. As the world #1. Its reign will be the shortest. China will overtake the US in 2018. Less than 100 years at the top.

Clinton was open about allowing more migrants in, making illegal migrants legal and had no plans to stop the flow of jobs to the Third World and was blind to the real crisis you face. People like her are bankrupting Americans. It's not the country that pays the debts, it's the people. Only the bottom 99%.

But she is politically correct. :Oh crap

No it's been pounded into these people's heads day after day. And it still is. White man is a racist bigot. Trump is a racist bigot. It's still going on. Just watch any mainstream media. Hell even on Maher last night. They got it wrong so what do they do? They ramp it up. They can't stand the fact they they look like fucking idiots and that their con didn't work so it's game on. .

I'm in south OC too and those days are long gone, the majority this election voted Democrat, on par with LA. In fact, OC now has only 26% registered Republicans. All of this is mainly attributed to a demographic shift over the last 20 years.

So around the same time we were going rounds early this morning a protester got shot in the leg in Portland. But witnesses have said that the shooter was among a group of other "organizers" who had been trying to start trouble all night. Generally when things like this happen it's paid provocateurs. They were paid to lead and to provoke. So as many have confirmed George Soros is for sure up to his neck in trying to incite a race war. Soro's is Obama's as well as Hillary's bankroll/advisor so there's no doubt in my mind those two are involved. I bet it eventually comes out the Clinton Foundation is now funding some of this.
