No, there are alternative sites. They are simply not that publicized nor are the good ones publicly accessible. The better ones require adult industry verification. And business gets done. Certainly they are slower than GFY, but that's because they are purely business focused and thus, a productive part of one's business day.

That said, there's still business to be had on GFY, it's just not a focus of a lot of people anymore. Personally, I don't think many business people in the adult industry consider GFY as a valuable resource (my opinion). When one looks at the list of threads from the past week, I think that's fairly obvious.

Having said that, I also agree that GFY NEEDS the page views, and the more outrageous or inflamed a thread can be, the more page views it generates. In that sense, sensationalism is a key ingredient to GFY's ongoing life.
