The Democrat Senators on the Senate Intelligence Committee sent President Obama a signed letter asking that the report's details be declassified and released to the public. I would like to see them -- wouldn't you?

For your graph to be relevant each state would have to have their own EC and not base their results on the popular vote.

Not one works that way

Take your complaint to Wikipedia, it's their graph https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerr..._United_States

Evidently there's a conspiracy by Wikipedia to misinform the public on the basics of our political system.

It looks like liberals will never move past the denial phase, which is ok by me. Fuckin' crybabies won't win another national election for decades. Hope they run a gay muslim next election.

I would for sure. And so should every freedom-loving American.

No.

The CIA released an summary on Saddam Hussein's chemical and biological weapons programs in 2002, 9 months before the invasion of Iraq.

An expurgated version was released in 2004, but the full version wasn't available to the public until 2009. The CIA said:

"Iraq probably has renovated a [vaccine] production plant" to manufacture biological weapons "but we are unable to determine whether [biological weapons] agent research has resumed." The NIE also said Hussein did not have "sufficient material" to manufacture any nuclear weapons and "the information we have on Iraqi nuclear personnel does not appear consistent with a coherent effort to reconstitute a nuclear weapons program."

The CIA told the truth.

Vano, this isn't a "liberal" thing anymore. I don't think anyone should dismiss this topic. It's pretty damn important.

Yeah Crockett said "That shows, that gerrymandering is what "won" the EC. Meaning a rigged system at state level in a handful of states changed the outcome of the election."

So I posted a graphic to explain to you gerrymandering because you were confused as to how it impacted presidential elections.

The GOP gerrymandered local elections to imppact congressional districts and win the 201y election without popular vote.

Here's a story written about their plan in April 2015 GOP Plots to Win 2016 Presidency Without a Majority Popular Vote. It's basically stealing power against the will of the majority.

I agree, if there was some kind of hacking or influence from Russia that may have affected the election, it needs to be looked into so we can see just what happened and keep it from happening again.

President Obama has ordered the U.S. intelligence community to conduct a "full review" of the cyberattacks during the 2016 election and to prepare a report on the subject - including to Congress - before he leaves office, White House homeland security adviser Lisa Monaco said Thursday.

"We may have crossed into a new threshold," Monaco said at a breakfast meeting with reporters, referring to the "malicious" election-related cyberattacks, which U.S. intelligence officials have said publicly they are "confident" were directed by the Russian government. "And it's incumbent upon us to take a stock of that, to review, to conduct some after-action, to understand what this means and what has happened and to impart lessons learned."

Deputy White House press secretary Eric Schultz later told reporters that Obama ordered the review earlier this week, describing it as a "deep dive" by U.S. intelligence agencies - working with the FBI and the State Department - into malicious cyberattacks that the U.S. intelligence community have already determined was directed at the "highest levels" of the Russian government. (Schultz notably said Thursday that the U.S. intelligence community has "high confidence" in that conclusion. The intelligence community had previously said it was "confident" about the Russian role.) He added that the review will also encompass cyberprobing and "scanning" of state election systems last summer, as well as look back at an earlier election-related cyberattack on the campaigns of Obama and Sen. John McCain in 2008, which U.S. officials attributed to the Chinese government.

Schultz emphasized that the review is "not an effort to challenge the outcome" of the 2016 presidential election. Still, he said, "it's a huge priority. It's a major priority for the president."

Obama's review could box in President-elect Donald Trump on an issue that has wide-ranging implications for U.S.-Russia relations. Already the matter has prompted calls for further investigations by the Congress - including proposals to create a national commission, patterned after the one formed after the 9/11 terror attacks - to conduct a full public review of the subject.

In an interview released this week, President-elect Trump dismissed the conclusions of the intelligence community on the Russian role in cyberattacks on the Democratic National Committee and other political organizations, saying at one point they could have been committed by "some guy in his home in New Jersey."

"I don't believe they interfered," said Trump in an interview with Time, about the Russian role in meddling in the U.S. election. "That became a laughing point, not a talking point, a laughing point. . Why not get along with Russia?" Trump added. "And they can help us fight ISIS, which is both costly in lives and costly in money. And they're effective and smart. It could be Russia. And it could be China. And it could be some guy in his home in New Jersey. I believe that it could have been Russia, and it could have been any one of many other people. Sources and even individuals."

Despite calls by seven Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee for the Obama administration to declassify more information about what it knows about the cyberattacks, Monaco did not commit to a public release of the intelligence community's review, saying officials had to be careful not to release information that would "disclose sources and methods." But Schultz later told reporters, "We're going to make public as much as we can."

She also did not respond to a question about what response the U.S. government may have taken, or is still contemplating, in retaliation for what it believes to be the Russian attacks. In her opening comments to reporters, Monaco spoke generally about the cyberthreats facing the country, adding at one point that "we will act to protect our interests, as well as impose costs" on malicious cyber actors, including nation-states, that attack U.S. interests. She did not elaborate.

"And it's incumbent upon us to take a stock of that, to review (complete political bullshit that has no meaning), to conduct some after-action, to understand what this means and what has happened and to impart lessons learned."

Deputy White House press secretary Eric Schultz later told reporters that Obama ordered the review earlier this week, describing it as a "deep dive (more bullshit)" by U.S. intelligence agencies - working with the FBI and the State Department - into malicious cyberattacks that the U.S. intelligence community have already determined was directed at the "highest levels" of the Russian government. You know Russia hacked the election to get Trump elected. If the same thing happened to Trump you'd be outraged. The majority of fake news sites owned and admistered by Russia are another obvious clue.

Here's the difference, I'm outraged regardless of who the target is. I'm an American. Putin meddling in our elections is a non partisan issue of national security.

The speculation at this point is that the CIA believes Russia hacked the DNC and other things then gave that information to sources like Wikileaks who made it public. Supposedly there are other things they believe the Russians have done, but at this point they aren't saying what those things are.

That's because there is no direct election system in the USA. In short: the US citizens have no right to vote and they are not allowed to elect the president personally - all their votes go to the Electoral College and they (the votes) can be officially ignored by the big guys.

funny move for a crowd that was sure sure they'd win that even Obama was asking if Trump would accept the outcome of the election.

even funnier that he wasn't concerned at all about this months before the election when it was happening

I'm always wondering how much more can you guys do to undermine the election outcome

Funny how you're so lofty and above everyone else being luke warm on everything with no skin in the game, while painting a general broad brush stating "funny move for a crowd that was sure sure they'd win" instead of speaking to people directly who are posting in the thread. :2 cents:

The FBI already investigated a found nothing. The CIA cannot operate on US soil so how could they actually investigate? Are they going to export all of the voting machines out of the US for analysis?

TVD 12-11-2016 04:12 PM

Argue about it all you want, if this election gets taken away from Trump it will be civil war. And the military and gun lovers will not be on Hillary's side.
