It is because historically Putin doesn't do anything without some kind of an agenda. it's interesting to me how Republicans have all of a sudden taken a liking to Russia. I saw today that a poll recently showed that back in July of 2014 only about 10% of Conservatives had a favorable opinion of Putin, but that number is now up to 35%.

Trump talks nicely about Putin and his supporters follow. They don't seem to care that Russia may have influenced the election (of course had Clinton won and the CIA said Russia helped her win they wouldn't be blowing it off, they would be sounding air raid sirens and talking about invading Moscow) and they are suddenly acting like we are friends.

Sure, if Russia and the US could have a good relationship, that would be fantastic, but I don't trust Putin and if Putin thinks Trump is better for Russia you can bet the reason isn't because he wants to talk about peace on Earth and grabbing secretaries by the pussy.

There's a lot of reasons to not like Trump (huge lover of police, authoritarian, etc..) but in terms of foreign policy, it looks like he's not the most eager to go to war. He has no problem saying the Iraq war was a mistake from the beginning, and he's not eager to get into shitting contests with other superpowers, unlike Clinton.

Anyhow, all of this arguing over presidents is moot. They're hood ornaments; the vehicle is going to do what it's going to do regardless of what shiny little chrome piece is sitting on its hood. All a game to keep people distracted.

This is their MO. They do low down dirty things like not pay citizens until they're sued, scam citizens with a fake school until sues, setup a fake anonymous charity with no purpose but to funnel money, and every time when they're caught they act like they didn't know and blame someone else.

Trump's going to have to adapt to not blame others if/when he's POTUS. I think this incident with his sons was his last allowed money making fuck up. POTUS has a whole new set of rules & sophistication you have to adapt to.

Neut Gingrich is actually trying to get Congress to change the ethics laws for the POTUS because he thinks Trump can't abide by them. You just can not make this stuff up..

I think Trump loves fame as much as he loves money. He loves being on TV and I think he is doing this Thank You Tour because he loves standing in front of crowds that chant his name and worship him. So I think he will, and does, want to do things that will also make people like him. However, he is quickly going to find out that when you are POTUS and you do something half the people may love you for it and half of them are going to hate you and criticize you for it.

I don't doubt this for a minute. He knows the two are intertwined. The more famous he gets the money he can get. There are also side benefits of being famous that I'm sure he enjoys.

It will be interesting to see how he changes once the luster of being the new POTUS wears off and he is just that guy doing the nearly impossible job and being soundly criticized for everything he does everyday.
