Uh..who were they going to arrest? The entire NSA? The U.S Federal Govt.? President Obama?

Can't you see that what Snowden revealed to the American people (you and I) was that our govt. is spying on us.

THAT is unconstitutional without a JUDGE issuing a wire tap order. It's illegal Rochard.
Why would you even argue that, and why on Earth would you defend that type of activity?

In fact, all police departments keep metadata about us. Here in my home town the local police department has license plate scanners that scan your license plate, and they track this information.

Also, I do not believe law enforcement needs a warrant to collect data or even do surveillance. Usually they only need a warrant to search you, your car, your house, read your email / mail, or tap your phones.

Allow me to clarify. You need a warrant if you want to tap someone's phone or read their text messages or hack into their computer and read their emails. The Patriot Act allows groups like the NSA to do these things without a warrant so long as they go to court after and get a warrant. This is how our justice systems keeps them in check and makes certain they aren't abusing these powers. We found out that in many cases they never got those warrants after and nothing was ever done about it.

Brother I would NEVER be a registered Republican. And I changed from a registered Democrat to a registered Libertarian in 2012 (before Gary Johnson went "crazy" lol)

Someone somewhere ordered that this be done. Why haven't they arrested that person? Why haven't they arrested any of the people involved?

Why would anyone trust or believe anything Assange says? This man is a criminal who is avoiding charges by hiding out in an embassy to avoid charges.

Again...let me ask you: Do you remember his "crime" and the accusations against the U.S. Govt. for pressuring Sweden into bringing those charges against him?

Do you also know that he is an award winning journalist?

Read the first few paragraphs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_Assange

Don't be so quick with your judgement.

I'm watching what the media and the Obama Administration is doing on this.
When I was young we called it "Killing The Messenger"

Think about it. All this stuff is uncovered about the Clinton Campaign's dirty tricks in the election. But just like a magician says: "Watch this hand" while he does something covertly with his other hand....we are being misdirected with screams of "Russia".

I just can't trust these bureaucrats in govt. They have lied to all of us over and over and over.

Robbie 01-05-2017 09:05 PM

Also Rochard...check out what actually happened to him:
Julian Assange sex assault allegations: Timeline - BBC News

Go down and start reading after "Below is more information on how events have unfolded:"

It's crazy what happened to him.

And I remember the media were all up in arms about him being railroaded and they defended him. BUT...once he exposed Hillary, NOW they hate him.

Isn't that the definition of hypocrisy and bias?

Assange has always been a loser and Democrats have always thought so.

The far left Bernie types are the Assange fanboys, the Cheeto eating basement dwellers, not Democrats, never was.

You need to de-program yourself from this last election.

Clinton has been after the extradition, and prosecution, of Assange for years, and she's a Democrat.

A libertarian is a Republican embarrassed to say he's a Republican -- and trust me -- you are Republican. Your words do nothing but say that to everyone, so you're not fooling anyone.

stooge
sto͞oj/
noun
noun: stooge; plural noun: stooges

1.
derogatory
a person who serves merely to support or assist others, particularly in doing unpleasant work
.

When it comes to this Russian mess, this is the only thing that should be talked about.

Why does Donald Trump defend Vladamir Putin or mention how great he is whenever asked about him? Why does he want to deny so strongly the very plausible idea that Russia hacked the election? When presented with proof today, he will not change his mind on the issue.

It's because he is KNOWINGLY Putin's stooge. There's a connection which will come to light eventually.

He is a stooge for sure :1orglaugh

I don't see real revelations coming to light for years, and in decades, after Trump is dead, redacted intel will come out showing us what we already know :2 cents:

Well;
  • I am well past draft age
  • I am 3/4 toward life's end

That said, Barbarossa is pure Russian Delusion. No one wants Russian land or its resources.

Guess again ...

Robbie, you are being ridiculous. Assange is accused of a crime and went into hiding. When law enforcement says "We want to talk to you" the LAST thing you do is flee to a foreign country and hide in another country's embassy.

This is very, very simple.... When police want to talk to you in connection with a crime and you flee the country, they issue an arrest warrant.

I do not care about Assange at all. He is a criminal on the run, and his word is worthless.

This is what is mind blowing to me. This should be the ONLY thing our government is discussing.

I don't understand this at all. We had nine investigations into Benghazi, which revealed nothing. Here we have our intelligence agencies telling the American public that a foreign power hacked and did other things to influence an American election and were obviously successful and our government's top priority is trying to shut down an internal ethics panel?

This problem is much larger than just this last election.

So be it brother.

I'm just wasting my time trying to show you anything or debate things with you because you have already made up your mind.

I have made up my mind.

However, right and right and wrong is wrong. A good example of this is Trump's taxes. Do I want to see them? Of course I do. But if they are stolen and released illegally then this needs to be investigated, and if then find out who did it they need to go to jail.

In this case all of the US intelligence agencies are saying Russia hacked people in the US in an attempt to influence our election. We know for a fact someone did it. Congress should stop everything to investigate this. This is much more important than politics - Russia recently took down a power grid in Ukraine, and now we have proof they have tried to hack a US power company. NOTHING can be a high priority in our country right now.

I do hope to see you in Vegas. I've always liked you. We just won't be able to discuss politics much.

XXXtrailers 01-27-2017 04:42 AM

I am pretty sure our intelligence agencies can leak such information, but would they?
