Ours was primarily scanned photos from the magazines of the day - It was around 1994 that I started realizing that there was a movement on to make the internet graphical - but I didn't make the jump till it was too late and Tommy, Mark and Greenguy had dominated my area by that time :1orglaugh

Started online in 1995, joined GFY in 2002.

Same era - and likewise our BBS was mostly user-uploaded mag scans from all over the place. We had a good inventory of adult textfiles and stories, as well...but they weren't popular.

We were around the same time as Ollies and Farmer's Daughter BBSes - both multi-node boards.

LOL, I did the exact same. I was shooting my own content on 35mm. Was also a beta tester for MSI and had the entire Wildcat suite. Was running the PPP software before the WWW hit mainstream. I remember running 16 nodes with a rack of USR 28.8 modems. The phone company didn't understand why I wanted to run so many metered phone lines into one house. :1orglaugh
