I think "sturm und drang" might be a misnomer, as that seems to be what Trump's approach was to the election and the response is quite logical and reasoned as a pushback against his alternative-fact appeal to emotions above all else.

a) did you try to leave your mass media bubble for a while ? as long as there will be loonies and bad guys, there will be always a terror...it is not something to get rid off by 100 %... how many people are dying in car accidents per year in France and how many in terrorists attacks (that are not car "accidents" lol) ? if you are sheep to be ruled by fear, well then you are sheep. Not saying that letting in milions of people without any checks on them was a wise thing to do though
