How FB uses fingerprint to detect you

Until recently, there was an opinion that Facebook does not collect any data about the platform and device with which the affiliate is working, because the browser itself does not transmit such data to the network, and Facebook can collect this information only with the help of third-party services and applications.

Let me make it crystal clear: Facebook collects, accesses, processes, stores and segments the information about your device. Perhaps part of the data received by the social network hadn?t been used until recently, but the fact is: FB has the ability to extract the information about the hardware installed on the device and some of the system settings.

Since April, FB launched the trust-rate algorithms for accounts on the principle of Fingerprint (technologies that Google has been actively using for more than a year); According to the new algorithm all new accounts created using cringed or suspicious resources uncompromisingly are sent to the so-called "Selfie" checkpoint. On one hand, it's good that they are not immediately blocked. On the other hand, getting through this algorithm does not guarantee that you will not end up there again hours later. Machine learning from Facebook is ruthless: the algorithm will reset the same account over and over again if the fingerprint of the profile seems suspicious.

Let?s get to the point. There is an alternative user tracking method beside cookies. If you turn off cookies in the browser (by the way FB inserts 11 different cookies in your browser) your profile immediately ends up in the suspicious list. This significantly lowers the trust-rate, which makes it harder to protect yourself from fingerprint technology. The way it works: js-scripts consistently poll your browser for a whole heap of very platform-dependent settings. We call this technology Fingerprint-js, but Facebook uses libraries of its own development. If you want, you can debug all FB scripts and find all such requests.

Using fingerprint technology, FB recognizes not only the "stuffing" of your computer, but also indirectly learns information about installed libraries, software, drivers, etc. Each electronic device that got in facebook?s line of sight is assigned a unique digital label in the form of a hash sum. Add this to the data collected from double entry technology, data collected with cookies, and data that FB buys from third-party services. Daily FB receives roughly 1000 terabytes of information about its users, which social network engineers systematize, structure and analyze with the help of machine learning.

Not long ago we diligently tried to hide from the Network. Webrtc and flash partially blocked outgoing traffic, blocked cookies, cleaned cache and at the same time made us feel smart. Today, new registration with such parameters will directly go to the Selfie page faster than you can pronounce the name of FB owner. Previously, we were satisfied when the bunny whoer showed an honest 100% of anonymity. Now times have changed, and FB freaks out just like Google in 2015.

You gotta be ready, from the very beginning, that there is almost no white advertising in this country. And if you find some, just know that, it's not effective at all. So, if you used to have whitehat offers and direct advertisement, then it's time to master cloaking, doorway pages and other methods of blackhat ads. These features require a correct use but if you set them up right and pay your attention to the specific characteristics of the audience and advertised goods, it can be really effective and bring you a lot of traffic.

There are two types of domain parking. The prelanding domain, when the link to the offer with your domain works without a redirect, that is, the page of the offer opens directly on your domain. And the gate domain, when a parked domain leads to the advertiser's page through the redirect. So, you just replace the link to a network domain with your own one.

What does it give to you?

First of all, parking is useful because you replace a network domain, which can be blocked by social networks, with your own and your domain has a clean reputation.

Secondly, some of advertising services have such a thing as "domain karma". In other words, its reputation, which depends on the quality of advertising campaigns launched from this domain. Using your own one, you don't overpay for a click because usually those services punish domains with bad karma - they raise the cost of clicks. Also, you don't have to share impressions with other partners who advertise the same domain. The result - if you use your domain, you get more impressions and cheaper click.

Thirdly, some of you may have already faced a situation when moderator rejects your campaign because of redirects. A parked domain (when the offer page opens on your domain, without a redirect) will solve this problem as well.

Lastly, usually the attractiveness of your ad content is considered to be lower when you use a long domain name which is not connected to the product it promotes. That is why your ads have more chances to bring profits with a relevant domain name.

So, how to add a new domain to AdCombo?

Log in at https://adcombo.com/
Open the ?Instruments? section in the left menu:

Fill the name and choose the type of your new domain. If you parked your domain as a gate one, you won?t be able to choose a concrete offer and landing. In case you parked your domain as a prelanding, choose the offer and the prelanding you need. Don?t forget to set the ?active? status. To use your gate domain as a system domain also set the flag "current". The result should look like this:

Click ?Create?. Done! Now you can use your own domain name while working with AdCombo offers.

As you can see, it's rather simple and it has lots of pros at the same time. Parking your own domain in a CPA network is useful because you replace a network domain, which is used by thousands of publishers and which can be blocked by social networks and advertising services, with your own, which has never been noticed.

Facebook Pixel
How to optimize a site and increase conversion rates with Facebook? One of the best ways is Facebook Pixel. It is an analytics tool that helps you track conversions from Facebook ads, optimize ads based on collected data, build targeted audiences for future ads, and remarket to qualified leads - people who have already taken some kind of action on your website. Using this tool, you can lower the cost of every lead by 2-3 times!

It works by placing and triggering cookies to track users as they interact with your website and your Facebook ads.

What benefits does it have?

Create lookalike audiences
Facebook can use its targeting data to help you create a lookalike audience of people who have similar likes, interests, and demographics to people who are already interacting with your website. Thus, Pixel expands your target audience.

Remarket
Pixel tracking data gives you an opportunity to show targeted ads to people who have already visited your site. You have lots of options here - for example, you can show people your ad for the exact product that they have already added to a shopping cart or to a wishlist on your website.
That is why you?d better create a Facebook Pixel now, even if you?re not using Facebook ads yet - it will analyze your audience and optimize your ads from the very beginning of advertising.

Run effective ads
You can make your ads more effective with a Facebook Pixel by improving the quality of the ads you run and by improving the targeting of the people who see them.

Why do I need standard events?
Facebook Pixel has 9 standard events which make your work with it much easier. Each standard Facebook event has its own code - you can simply copy and paste it. These events are:

View content: someone lands on a page on your website.
Search: someone uses the search function to look for something on your site.
Add to cart: someone adds a product to their shopping cart on your site.
Add to wishlist: someone adds a product to a wishlist on your site.
Initiate checkout: someone starts the checkout process to buy something from your site.
Add payment info: someone enters their payment information in the purchase process on your website.
Make purchase: someone completes a purchase on your website.
Lead: someone signs up for a trial or otherwise identifies themselves as a lead on your site.
Complete registration: someone completes a registration form on your site, such as for a subscription product.


How to create a Facebook Pixel?

The process of creating a pixel is pretty simple.

1. Go to your ?Pixels? tab in Ads Manager

3. After that click on "Create a pixel", enter a name and click on "Create a pixel" again

That's it - you created Facebook Pixel. After that, Facebook will ask you to install the Pixel or send it by mail. To install the Pixel, click on "Install Code" and copy it to the clipboard.

How add it to your website in AdCombo?

1. Click Copy and Paste the Code

2. Go to AdCombo admin panel and that choose an appropriate offer. Then check ?Postbacks and Pixels?

3. Then paste your Pixel code in ?Pixel Code? or ?Retarget Code? field. Note that if you paste your code in ?Pixel Code?, it will collect information only about users who already ordered something. And if you paste in ?Retarget Code? then it will collect info about all the people on the chosen page.

4. Before you start, you should confirm that your Facebook Pixel working properly. The easiest way is to download Facebook Pixel Helper extension for Google Chrome. And then just visit the page where you have installed the Facebook pixel. If the extension finds the pixel, the </> icon will turn blue, and a popup will indicate how many pixels are found on the page. The popup also tells if your pixel is working properly. If not, it provides error information so you can make corrections.
