if that protest vote will be a wake up call for the western goverments - he was at least good for something.

but who you want to wake up in a half democrathy country where you can only chose between 2 parties?

What is better? 10 parties where a 11% popular vote determines who runs the nation? You think the creme will rise to the top that way? We'd by a nation run by Miley Cyrus.

so how does it feel to be an idiotic stooge being spoon fed fake news?

And we're coming off a presidency for a guy who couldn't even say "radical Islam" or call the enemy what it is... just as the media doesn't.

It's stunning to me that you guys have been virtually kicked out of state and federal government and still have zero clue as to why and what people voted against. fake news, fake narratives and persistent media lies is a big part of it. You keep saying "Trump" and ignore that you've lost the white house, house, senate and most state legislatures. it's pretty obvious where the voting public thinks the biggest problems are right now and with what party.

Right Trump loses by over 3 million votes and you act like Trump has a mandate by being anointed by 306 elites in the electoral college.

FACT, the people rejected Trump.

FACT gerrymandering elects Republicans by narrow margins when more VOTERS vote Democrat in illegally gerrymandered districts.

FACT Republicans cheating the system to rob a Democratic president his SCOTUS pick for a YEAR.

Keep your head in the sand.

Paul that's not actually true though is it.

Some of the media were anti Trump because they know what a loose cannon he is, and his attacks on a free press are hardly going to win him any new journo friends.

With regards to the EU, I would say the UK press were about 50/50 on Brexit.

The 1% are pro EU ?

Again complete nonsense. The Barclay brothers are as 1% as it gets, secretive illusive billionaires who live on their own island and pull the strings of the British government.

They threw a huge party at the Ritz for Nigel Farage when he won the referendum.

So Paul please stop with your know it all bullshit.

I liken Trump to what happens when you give the guy who thinks he knows everything a chance to prove it. Fucking chaos ensues.

Does that remind you of anyone Paul ?

:thumbsup

Finding a few people who oppose my statement hardly makes it wrong.

No Paul you have it wrong. The media just reports what trump says. If you want proof of this, go to Youtube and search for Donald Trump speeches and interviews. Ignore all videos with commentary, and instead just watch the raw video. You will see what a complete jackass he is. He knows nothing. He's a bigot, a narcissist, and big believer in crazy conspiracy theories. You can learn this about him all on your own just by watching his videos.

The media adds spin and comments to what politicians say and do. They purposely interview people who say the emails scandal was not a big problem. Then interview people who say stopping millions of illegal migrants is a bad thing.

We know Trump is what he is. The problem is that under all the previous leaders' life has become harder for the majority of people. If a less bigot, a narcissist, and big believer in crazy conspiracy theories candidate had offered the same policies. He would have beaten Hillary by a huge margin.

How can I be racist or bigot if I married two non-Anglo-Saxon women?

Once again stupidity overrides sense. I'm anti-migration of anyone who can't add real value to the country they move to. How many migrants do you know doing a job an American could do and on the dole?

Mass migration is proven to lower wages, taxes and push up benefits.

In Europe, the rise of the Far Right is only due to the Middle and Left letting people down, the next set of elections will show Europeans disgust for the Middle and Left.

The US does have a problem with its political system. Can candidates follow Trump's lead on things like Migration and Trade? Can they see the politicians represent the people giving them money from those that represent them?

Judging on some of the posters here, that's clear no.

They don't realise that Clinton is part of the problem. Voting for the same people dedicated to fucking them up. Is stupid. But they keep doing it.

Do you remember learning yesterday that American immigrants/refugees are vetted for 2 years before being allowered entry? You keep equating apples and oranges.

American refugees - 2 year vetting

European refugees - NO VETTING

Please try to remember tomorrow

well why not - that is at least nearer to democracy as 2 parties with only 2 opposite positions. there are far more positions than 2 and a goverment should represant the positions of ALL citizens.

infact my own idea of a reasonable (not perfect) democracy is even more radical.
i would not allow parties at all or at least no fraction pressure.

I really would love to see Macron winning in France and give him the chance to show, that a good politic does not need a membership in a party or any ideology. But the chance for him is really not too big because the old habits are too deeply rooted.

Keep your head in the sand.

FACT. Americans keep voting for the people who are dedicated to fucking them.

Most Americans are getting poorer and so far Washington has done little to nothing to stop that. More are on benefits or low wages causing debt to rise faster.

And the future is going to be worse. So what is Washington doing to turn that around?

Striving to set more free trade with countries that can undercut American workers, manipulate currencies, dump products to close American industries and intent on becoming a military force.

On migration, many are in favour of legalising illegal migrants and making immigration easier and more attractive. At a time that many Americans jobs and wages are under threat.

The only option they had was a crazy guy because the rest are fucking them. FACT. Which you support.
