Polls are just predictions, and they always have margins of error. Only politicians care about poll numbers, as that is how they gauge their own campaigns daily successes. Why would people care what the polls say? Vote who you're going to vote for for your own well educated reasons. Don't jump off the bridge just because your neighbours say they're going to!

It's not the job of the US Government to court the favor of the world. It's job is to see to the interests of it's citizens. If that actual job spurns the rest of the world it is no concern of mine TBQH.
