But all of the prior President Elects weren't making secret back door plans to carve up entire countries and hand them over to the Russians....

And then telling lies about it all.

Yep, you're definitely trolling. lol

You have ZERO way of knowing that your statement is in any way, shape, or form true.

You simply hate Trump and don't mind making things up that you imagine might have happened inside Trump's mind. Pure ridiculousness.
You are no better than the Republicans who swear Obama was "pro-Muslim" and secretly wanted to destroy the United States.
It's just stupid.

Wiki Leaks has been 100% correct in every data dump they have done over the last 11 years.

The "intelligence community" meanwhile has lied to you over and over throughout your entire lifetime.
Telling lies is what a spy agency does for a living.

If not for a guy named Snowden, you wouldn't have known that they were illegally listening and watching everything you do. (I know...you hate him too. You are so pro-govt. and so determined to be ruled over by them that you are irrational in these discussions)

And by the way...your beloved "intelligence community" also BREAKS INTERNATIONAL LAW every minute of every day. It's part of their job description as fucking spies.

Hey Rochard...google this:
CIA breaking international law

Then tell me again about wiki leaks exposing liars as opposed to what the "intelligence community" has done killing people, spying on people, assassinating people...the list goes on and on.

Rochard 02-23-2017 10:06 PM

Hey Robbie.... If what Trump did was common and routine.... And if what Trump did was perfectly legal.... Why are the hiding it? Why are they spinning lies about this... And why did they fire someone over it?

More importantly, why are you telling the FBI to dispute stories about their involvement with Russia?

Trump didn't do anything.
And as I've said several times and you KNOW if you have watched any news at all...Trump fired Flynn for lying to Pence about it.

And they aren't "hiding" anything.

As for the Washington Post...first of all they are one of two newspapers (the other being the New York Times) that came right out in the campaign and proclaimed that they weren't even going to pretend to be unbiased journalists and are actively working AGAINST Trump.

Further...if you read the CNN report it says:
"The FBI rejected a recent White House request to publicly knock down media reports about communications between Donald Trump's associates and Russians known to US intelligence during the 2016 presidential campaign, multiple US officials briefed on the matter tell CNN.
But a White House official said late Thursday that the request was only made after the FBI indicated to the White House it did not believe the reporting to be accurate."
FBI refused White House request to knock down recent Trump-Russia stories - CNNPolitics.com

In other words Trump asked HIS FBI if they would go public with the fact that the FBI thinks the reporting is erroneous
.
BUT...that is from more of The New York Times and Washington Post and CNN's so-called "unidentified sources".
NOT any actual FBI source. Just the "big three" anti-Trump media outlets "reporting" what they "heard" from "unidentified sources" and "multiple officials".

So we don't even know if THAT much is really true.

Why on Earth would "multiple officials" who work for Trump tell CNN anything at all? Did you even consider that?
If they did, it will cost them their jobs when Trump finds out who did it.

Don't you ever even question for one second the stuff you are being fed?

Every source of news out there is telling me the same exact thing...

- Flynn had multiple discussions with Russia about sanctions and then lied about it.
- Flynn was fired because of this.
- Micheal Cohen met with Russian officials and hand carried a Russian plan to the White House (and then lied about it).
- The White House is trying cover all of this up, going so far as to tell the FBI to stop reports about it.. which is COMPLETELY unethical.

You are telling me to question the "stuff I am being fed". EVERYTHING is telling me the same exact thing - The Trump administration had multiple points of contact with the Russian government is obviously covering it up.

She should have been truthful with the American people instead of constantly lying.

That is fair, but saying that taking sanctions against Russia after finding clear evidence of them meddling with elections (something Trump has even admitted to eventually) was purely politically motivation is way off base. That is a borderline act of war. Spying is one thing, everyone does that, but meddling in elections is not something ever EVER to be taken lightly. I find it hard to believe you can be partisan on such an issue.

This is my point.

ALL of the evidence here points to the Russians influencing our election, and all of the evidence points to Trump and his campaign having constant and regular contact with the Russian intelligence communities. There is not one shred of evidence that disproves this.

Combined with the constant lies, the cover ups, directing the FBI to dispute the Russian / Trump connections, the fact that Trump refuses to release his tax information, and there is this....

His son Eric Trump said...

?Russia is one of the hottest places in the world for investment,? Trump said in a 2007 deposition. ... ?Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets,? Trump's son told a real estate conference in 2008.

The number of ties between Trump and Russia is staggering. STAGGERING. The majority of the loans Trump gets is through Russia. Then there is Flynn who flew to Russia last year to celebrate "Russia Today" (i.e., Russian propaganda channel) with Putin no less Manafort who worked more or less worked for Russia while in Ukraine.

Why wouldn't we investigate this to the fullest of our ability? Why isn't all of Congress demanding an investigation? Instead we have the White House attempting to influence the FBI.

Stop this.

I am not talking about the CIA. I am not talking about Hillary. I am not talking about Obama. I am not talking about McCain, Palin, Paul Ryan, or John Boehner.

I am talking about Trump. I am talking about the President of the United States and his direct connections to Russia, and how Russia influenced our election.

(BTW, yes, the CIA broke International law. That's pretty much their job on a daily basis.)

I'm not taking a side on this conversation ...however I just wanted to remind you that I believe it was the Washington Post who had an unidentified source during Watergate that took out a president....
And people were having these exact same discussions for years...
Turned out to be the #2 guy at the FBI was the source
Just some history to think about

Newspaper editors don't typically allow the printing of a story based on unidentified sources...unless they are confident that the source can be defended at least 3 layers in...otherwise everyone and their brother would be filing charges against the newspaper

If there is so much un-truth being spouted as I see a lot of people claiming here...why have no suits been brought....you would think that someone like Trump who lived in courtrooms for years filing suits would jump on this....just doesn't pass the common sense test :thumbsup

The same thing applies to you and I unless you or I have and inside source that we implicitly trust.

Do you have an inside source in the State Department, CIA, Pentagon, or FBI?

BTW, which I actually do have an inside source in the Pentagon as well as the FBI and pretty much trust what the have to say when they have soimething to say.

The New York Times, The Hill, Politico, BuzzFeed, the Daily Mail, BBC, the Los Angeles Times and the New York Daily News were among the other news organizations not permitted to attend.

Journalists from several right-leaning outlets were allowed into Spicer?s office, including Breitbart, the Washington Times and One America News Network.

Robbie 02-24-2017 02:48 PM

Rochard is exaggerating.

But it IS funny that CNN and the New York Times weren't allowed to attend the "Gaggle".

I'll fill in any of you who are like Rochard and don't do any real digging but just listen to the fake news that's being shoveled out.

CNN is still going to be able to be at every White House Press Conference. Just like always.

BUT...the White House press secretary always has "unofficial" get-togethers called a "Gaggle" as well.

In the "Gaggle" a press pool is formed and that pool is used to get the info out to the rest of the media.
It's basically a daily discussion.

The press secretary decided to EXPAND the pool to include a few more people than the normal one or two people allowed to attend.

CNN and the New York Times were not invited and tried to CRASH the "gaggle" with no clearance.

They were turned away.

That is the REAL story.
Not the stupid shit that CNN has on their front page and that Rochard is repeating like a parrot.

You would think by now that Rochard would simply have researched this.
Hell, the CNN story on it even tells you exactly what I just wrote. lol

All Rochard had to do was just read the story and not just the headline. :)

Sure, I'm exaggerating.

White House blocks news organizations from press briefing

CNN and other news outlets were blocked on Friday from attending an off-camera White House press briefing that other reporters were hand-picked to attend, raising alarm among media organizations and First Amendment watchdogs.

The decision struck veteran White House journalists as unprecedented in the modern era, and escalated tensions in the already fraught relationship between the Drumpf administration and the press.

The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Politico and BuzzFeed were also among those excluded from the meeting, which was held in White House press secretary Sean Spicer's office. The meeting, which is known as a gaggle, was held in lieu of the daily televised Q-and-A session in the White House briefing room.
When reporters from these news organizations tried to enter Spicer's office for the gaggle, they were told they could not attend because they were not on the list of attendees.

In a brief statement defending the move, administration spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said the White House "had the pool there so everyone would be represented and get an update from us today."

The White House press pool usually includes representatives from one television outlet, one radio outlet and one print outlet, as well as reporters from a few wire services. In this case, four of the five major television networks -- NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox News -- were invited and attended the meeting, while only CNN was blocked.

So now the White House picks which news outlets get access.

Bullshit. This entire administration is dirty going all the way back from the campaign. They are trying to contain the situation, and failing.

Yes you are Rochard.

If you knew anything at all about the White House press then you would know about the "Gaggle" and that it is usually just ONE media group attending it that report to the rest of them. A "press pool".

It's NOT a press conference.

So CNN and The New York Times would NOT have been attending that anyway.

They got their panties in a bunch because Spicer invited some EXTRA media who Trump feels don't report falsehoods to attend... in ADDITION to the official press pool media.

Understand? Is that getting through to you?

CNN would NOT have been in attendance anyway. But when they heard that a couple of their competitors who haven't shot themselves in the foot DID attend...they tried to CRASH the "gaggle" and got turned away.

Why do I have to explain this to you like a child? Come on!

beerptrol 02-24-2017 03:05 PM

Chump and his people are corrupt and trying to hide it.

Funny how chump didn't have a problem with unnamed sources and leaks when it benefited him......

Says the press makes up stories and sources...Just like him and his staff have been doing

At least it shouldn't.

So you still don't understand the concept of the "Gaggle" and the press pool that reports to all the media outlets???

And you still don't understand that CNN and all the rest will still be at all the press conferences?

And you still don't understand that they all have the exact same amount of access that they have always had?

This is why politicians and the media are able to manipulate people so easily for so many decades. :(
