for those who charged back with pay pal what did you tell them you bought? Since they dont allow adult transaction im worried they will close my account for this.

I just checked the status on paypal and the $275 dispute I have open with Brian is currently awaiting reply by the other party.

Although I opened the request for refund a while back once he emailed me to let me know he never sent a the hard drive, I only escalated to paypal a few days ago when it became clear no immediate refund would be forthcoming

in terms of identity of the seller, pretty sure it's the original Brian as when I purchased the content I requested he put his and Penny's full name and address on the invoice.

what I didn't know was that he was selling content he didn't own. I never would have wanted to purchase that, and in my email record with him he presented himself as the content owner

at minimum being honest about that detail would have prevented this waste of time for Brian and myself and no doubt the other purchasers as well

will update once I receive a result in the paypal dispute, wish the rest of y'all luck with the process as well

you can use paypal for buying and selling adult physical goods and stay within the AUP. those of us who purchased a hard drive of content received physical goods, we did not violate any paypal rule

the issue is that paypal likes to close the accounts of peeps who work in adult regardless of whether they violate the AUP or not

so just say 'content' or 'videos' for promotional purposes for your company. never mention anything about adult when dealing with paypal, in any context including this one

You cannot file a police complaint on a civil matter -- you would have to sue most likely internationally --- cost more that you would ever recover. No Judge Judy or 'Peoples Court' resolution here. Keep on the Paypal complaints ...

I have a really awesome lawyer in FL, two actually who work together at the same practice. I used them when I had to sue the company I was working with before I went solo with my own site. I everything back in that suit, including all lawyers fees/court costs

they're florida-based, decent rates and amazing. that firm has been wonderful to me. I'll send you their details as well

(and ignore any idiots in this thread who have likely never even held 1800 in their hand at one time before. this is probably their excitement peak/highlight of the day so shrug off that particular noise)

Well that's actually the only reason I went for it. It seemed like a unique situation where he had (supposedly) tons of 'exclusive' videos not yet used or sold and he just needed fast cash. Otherwise I agree, and I only deal with reputable content providers. The packages he was selling over and over to others in this thread were not the videos he promised me. If he was selling videos in $200 packages it couldn't be exclusive and I wouldn't be interested in that.

I don't typically buy content, for the majority of my adult work up til now I've always used my own. Brian's thread about this just happened to coincide with and compliment something I was doing at the time. absolutely if I was a routine purchaser or had decided to include video content in my strategy prior to the thread I would have gone that route



can only speak for myself obv but I don't think I made a poor decision. The problem was the legitimacy of the information upon which that decision was based

was just one of those things; I thought a guy who owned a ton of content wanted to raise some funds for the building of his site and was selling it for that reason. that's logical to me, and actually a clever idea if it had worked. I assumed he was telling the truth when he stated he owned the content. I'm also assuming everyone else who purchased had similar thoughts.

Thanks for the info, and your logic was more or less mine as well. Many of my sites are based on content people already created and are just sitting on, not knowing what to do with the content. So I help monetize it, often splitting profits long term. But when someone is offering exclusive at such a low price I went for it. My mistake.

But your info was very helpful and will come in handy if we have to go legal on him.
