I had similar experience , in Caracas , when our aircraft had a mechanic failure, on route to Cumana .
Military with machine guns were preventing us from leaving the airport, as we were " in transit " . They threatned an Israeli guy that really fit the profile of Mossad ... they standed down after a few minutes....

Funny thing, the plane broke down 2 weeks later on the way back ( Nationair ... )

I've watched this video like 12x's what kind of "Doctor" behaves this way? Running around up /down the aisle chanting he has to go home? I think not only United lost out in this ordeal but this man probably lost some credibility himself. Was there any confirmation that this man was even really a doctor yet and his story was true?

There's apparently a lot more to this story than what the media have run with. From what I've read, the guy voluntarily left the plane after taking the $$$ offer, and only when he ound out the next flight was the next day, did he get back on board, after running through security.
