Seems Carter Page was under investigation for working for being a Russian agent. Surprise surprise surprise. Nearly everyone who works for the administration has ties directly to Russia.

Today a story broke that the other members of the congressional intelligence committee that Nunes belongs to has now seen the papers that Nunes supposedly showed Trump that proved that Obama was wiretapping him and both the Democrats and Republicans on the committee have said that the documents contain nothing to back up his claims and that they contain nothing unusual.

Sounds like Nunes was talking out his ass.

Manafort was required to register as a "foreign agent". The law isn't for politicians or government employees, but instead lobbyists. If an American represents the interests of a foreign government, they MUST register as a "foreign agent".

The only reason they mask anything is to protect the privacy of every day average people - like you and me. I speak to people in Russia in a daily basis about routine business matters. It's even possible some of these discussions are recorded. Once they determine the call was routine and of no interest to the US government, the information is "masked". This way average people like all of us here on GFY don't have huge files at the CIA about every conversation we've ever had with someone in Russia.

However, when someone is a former officer in the United States Military or worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency and they speak to someone in the Russia government or someone who works for the government in China, well, there is no reason for it to be masked. It's a matter of national security. Even if it is routine, it's still added to his file.

What is most stunning is how this all came to light. Nunes originally claimed it was "whistle blowers" who showed him this information (lol, at the White House) and then he went to Trump with it. It was Trump's staff who showed it to Nunes, and obviously they had discussed it with Trump before showing it Nunes. If they didn't, they would have nothing more than people leaking information - the same people Trump is demanding we press charges against.

This is all bullshit. This was nothing more than an attempt to distract everyone from the truth, and it failed. In fact, it just made the Trump White House look silly.

Instead, the incoming Drumpf administration didn't meet with the State Department (or the Pentagon) and met with Russia in secret. Behind closed doors. And then lied about it and covered it up.

This is in violation of the Logan Act. The President Elect or his staff cannot meet with a foreign power and negotiate with a foreign power. If they want to meet with a foreign power, they do so through the State Department. Flynn had improper discussions with Russia, and now Carter Page did too.

You keep trying to make it sound like Trump's people meeting with the Russians was perfect normal. Did they meet with anyone else? Did they meet with someone from China? UK? France? Japan?

I'm looking at a CNN report from July of 2016 where they are talking about how the FBI informed the DNC that they had been hacked back at the beginning of 2016 and further told them that the hackers had been running wild in their system for over a YEAR.

So that would be the beginning of 2015 when they first got hacked.

Trump didn't announce until June of 2015. He wasn't even in the race at that point. And remember...there were SIXTEEN candidate for the Republicans at that point.

Hillary didn't announce until April of 2015 (via a stupid YouTube video...more proof of her horrible campaign style).

So the Russians hacked the DNC from around January of 2015 to the beginning of 2016.

At that point there were still multiple candidates for both Republican and Democrat nominations.

But somehow...in that fevered conspiracy you have...RUSSIA controlled everything by hacking emails from all of 2015 and the first month of 2016.

And every single one of those DNC emails were all about fucking over Bernie Sanders.
