how do you figure that "demand for it will rapidly increase"? if there are for example a million free-loaders, how would banning free porn, create more? I would think some percentage 5, 10 or whatever would figure "fuck it" and not bother searching for an alternative, so actually lowering "demand"?

By demand I meant the demand to get porn illegally.

Because if they can't get it for free legally, they will get it illegally - torrents, p2p networks and file lockers lost part of their traffic thanks to tubes, now they will get it back.

This is not limited to adult industry. I would like to see regulation warning pages etc but no point one country only doing it as hosting will just relocate or domains forwarded.
There is no changing that traffic is the most important commodity the net has adapted now the webmaster needs to.
