I find it strange that yesterday after the news broke that Chump released classified information. HR Mc Masters gave a statement that 3 people attended that meeting including himself and confirmed that no classified info was released to the Russians.
The strange part is of all the pictures the Russians released of that meeting Chump is the only one in them apart from the Russians?

He didn't have the "right" to share this specific Intel because it didn't come from our intelligence agencies.

This was Israeli gathered intel on ISIS and we didn't have the go ahead to share it. That's how partnerships work they have agreeents. The agency who gathers the Intel dictates who it can be shared with..

This was NOT supposed to be shared with ANYONE. Trump just made our country less safe because he burned a extremely valuable information source.

I just re watched what McMasters said.. Mc Masters didn't say Trump didn't give Russians intel.. He said Trump didn't release any "sources" and didn't say anything about non publicly known military activities.

"At no time, at no time, were intelligence sources or methods discussed and the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known," McMaster said.

McMasters never said Trump didn't give up top secret intel, just that he didn't give up the "source" of where it came from. The claims were not only was the intel Top Secret, that it would be easy for Russian intelligence agencies to figure out how the intel was gained.. (ie they can figure out the source and how it was obtained)

So McMaster didn't really lie, but he bluntly tried to lay cover for Trump, likely because he was ordered to do so.. Either way 24hrs later Trump already threw him under the bus..

I understand this fully. However, the President - any President - shouldn't be randomly handing over classified information to our adversaries without any thought or discussion.

The proper way to do this is before a meeting to sit down with his staff, including the intelligence agencies, to discuss what they plan on saying, what they plan on offering, and what NOT to say. This is exactly why it has become an issue - There was no planning, no discussion, no meeting, zero preparation, and Trump just tossed this out there without any comprehension of the repercussions.

The repercussions here are so serious that Trump's staff passed this back down to the intelligence community.

This is EXACTLY the problem with Trump. He has zero experience in these matters, doesn't begin to understand how these things work, does zero preparation, and doesn't trust the people who work for him. He has no understand of how much damage a single statement, action, or phone call can do.

One of the complaints most Presidents have about being President is the amount of reading material they have to study. They work a ten hour day, and then have hours of reading to prepare them for the next day. Trump isn't doing this. He doesn't like to read, and doesn't prepare.

There is no planning on anything, and no thought to the consequences. He fired the FBI director with zero thought to the fall out. He didn't even properly prepare his own staff on how to handle questions.

Trump is clearly unqualified to President.

Nothing is being accomplished, and the White House is going from one disaster to another.

While I am pissed that Trump shared this info with the Russians at all. I am even more pissed that the media has now pretty much told the whole world what the info was about, and even the source country of that info. Both absolutely wrong to do.
