Not so much. I tend to get most my news online. I only tend to watch the news on TV when there is something big happening, like a terrorist attack or plane crash, etc.

I will turn on the news if I am doing something that will only give me a few minutes in front of the TV, such as getting dressed in the morning or... This morning I had to put new shoe laces in my shoes so I flipped on CNN.

For the most part I get my news on line.

I like to watch the news as I eat breakfast around 7:30 a.m. Pacific time.
I flip between MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News. They all report differently on the same subject so it kinda balances out by watching a few minutes of each one.
The morning shows on MSNBC are pretty good about reporting a lot of actual news. CNN is John Bergman...and ALL he does is anti-Trump "stories". You wouldn't even have known it was the anniversary of D-Day if you were only watching CNN. lol
Hate Fox N Friends...mostly because of Brian Kilmeade. He was a "Sportscaster" all of his career and now thinks he is an actual news guy. lol

Then I watch the news again around noon when I eat lunch.
And I listen to the news channels on Sirius radio on my ride to and from the gym.

Last thing...I fall asleep with the t.v. on. So around 1 or 2 a.m. I hit the sack and turn on the news for background noise.

I like keeping up with what's going on. :)

No, not at all.

I was a full on Republican until I saw what happened with Bill Clinton's impeachment. They took a simple investigation into a financial matter and somehow asked him about blow jobs in the oval office. They backed him into an impossible position about a very personal matter. That was not the kind of political party I wanted to be a part of. Since then I've become an independent; I do not vote for someone the party tells me to vote for but instead vote for who I feel is right.

I supported Bush when he was in office. Bush guided us through a difficult time (9/11), although ultimately I was disappointed when we ended up in two never ending wars that we are still in plus destroying our economy (although I honestly do not blame that on Bush).

I surely did not get into politics because of Trump. I sure did make all kinds of predictions, and I wasn't the only one. Every poll in the world thought Clinton was going to win.

No, I did not know who Bernstein is. I've never seen (or even heard of) "All Of The President's Men".

When all of this was happening I was way too busy climbing trees as a child.

Love ya Rochard, but you're just dead ass wrong on this. Trump is not a Russian spy. Okay? The business community is excited and happy that we have a pro-business President.
The economy is starting to roar.

At this point it might not even matter if Trump was having secret discussions with the Russians. At this point it's going to be obstruction of justice.

We have a pro business president? LOL. He hasn't done anything. He isn't pro business. He is anti business. He is sued nearly every time he does business because he refuses to pay people.

Trump's approval rating is 34%: Poll: Trump's approval rating dips to 34% - CNNPolitics.com

LOL. The economy is starting to sore? Yes, Trump took office, has accomplished nothing, and magically the economy is much better. Let's see if Trump stays in office, and if he does where we stand in two years.

Robbie 06-07-2017 05:36 PM

Rochard you still believing those fake polls? LOL!

As far as business...you don't know what's happening because CNN isn't reporting on it. Open your eyes.

Obstruction of justice? Dream on Aerosmith.
There was NO crime. There can't be any "obstruction" of justice if there is nothing to obstruct.

Trump did ask Comey to lay off Flynn. He'd already fired Flynn and it was over.
Trump isn't some Washington D.C. lifetime bureaucrat for sure. He is from a world where if somebody works FOR you (like the FBI director), you can feel free to have a conversation with them.

Comey himself says in his written testimony that he didn't feel any pressure or that Trump did anything wrong. He said he felt "uncomfortable" being in a situation with Trump alone in a room discussing things.

Doesn't that make you scratch your head? That Washington D.C. has become a place where the head of the FBI can't feel "comfortable" speaking to the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?

These are the kind of things we should all be asking ourselves. Since when is it "bad" for people to actually talk to the President.

D.C. is a fucked up town and a fucked up culture.
No wonder it's such a swamp and is so inefficient.

Trump is a businessman. He's used to just getting shit done.
Not tiptoeing around in snowflake-ville like these lifetime/career bureaucrats do in Washington D.C.

Anyway, Rochard...just mark this thread down. It's going to be yet ANOTHER prediction of yours that will be wrong.
You're batting 1000 on being consistently wrong.
Obstruction of justice? LOL!
You are watching too much CNN and the rantings of their "legal analyst" Jeffrey Toobin (big Hillary supporter).

Hmmm should we trust the legal opinon of you, Bladewire, Crockett, Andy or should we trust the legal judgement of the Constitutional law professor at Harvard, Alan Dershowitz? And his command of the constitution makes it extremely clear that Trump can not only flirt on the edges of asking the investigation to stop of Flynn. He could flat out demand it ends immediately. He could 100% legally pardon Flynn today if he wanted too. And he can fire Comey, which he did. Now if you want to ask if its an ethical issue. Sure, I'd be on the same page as you. But legally, he can demand it be stopped. Dershowitz says that he starts destroying evidence, tapes etc, then you got something to work with criminally.

However, I know who I trust to actually know the law.

Robbie 06-07-2017 05:51 PM

What? You don't think Rochard knows more than Dershowitz? LOL

(I'm thinking that Rochard doesn't even know who Alan Dershowitz is...heh-heh)

Rochard is a good guy. I've seen a lot of smart good people that I like get so caught up in this hatred of Trump that they can't seem to get over it.

I'm hearing of people on Facebook "un-friending" close friends and even relatives over it.

That's why I am so disgusted with CNN and the Democrat Party. They COULD have helped unite the country after the election.
Instead they are doing exactly what they accused Trump of THINKING of doing when they were assuming he would lose the election.

They are dividing the country and causing hysteria among people.

Trump wasn't even in office a week when they were already calling him "fascist" and "hitler" and other absurdities.

Funny thing is...Trump is still pushing ahead. The economy is blooming, our foreign policy finally has a backbone and respect.
But these people don't know that because they are so caught up in hatred that CNN can just keep reporting nonsense on a daily basis and they WANT to believe it.

It sucks for them.

For those of us who are still retaining our sanity...it's an economic boom. We just had the biggest April and May that we've had since 2007. I didn't think that was possible anymore in porn. But there it is.

And on the mainstream front...some of the people who were in Vegas know the huge deal I have going on. And that deal all came to fruition once Trump was elected and my new mainstream partners told me that NOW they are ready to invest.

Instead of all the whining and crying like snowflakes...they SHOULD be out striking while the iron is hot.
There is money to be made and I feel optimistic for the country for the first time since Bill Clinton was President.
Matter of fact I feel MORE optimistic now.

President Clinton benefitted from an internet bubble as an entire new economy was created online during his Presidency.
He had the good wisdom to leave it alone and not let the govt. ruin it.
And the economy boomed.

When Reagan was in office we had years of 6% GDP growth.
During Obama? Biggest year was 1.6% :(

Trump's biz friendly policy's are changing things.
He's already removed several of the Obama-era regulations that helped strangle business growth.

And once he can get tax reform and trade deals kicking in....the sky is the limit.

I'm happy and optimistic.

Seems that the so-called "liberals" are bitter, vitriolic, and full of doom and gloom.

Blinkered thinking.

While Reagan was in office, the Third World wasn't taking so many American jobs that it was taking under Obama. And he wasn't forced to deal with the huge bubble economy that had exploded because Clinton and Bush made no effort to slow it down.

Axeman 06-08-2017 10:20 AM

Robbie, Comey supported your claim that there has been countless stories reported in the press that have just been flat out false, but they can't come out to refute the un-named sources. Of course, you knew this already.

No...Reagan had to deal with the worst recession of our lifetime coming out of the late 1970's.
It was far, far worse here in the U.S. when Reagan took office.

Robbie 06-08-2017 10:35 AM

Oh...by the way:
Rochard has made several pronouncements that Trump is under "FBI Investigation" and that "Trump fired the guy investigating HIM".

Once again...Rochard keeps his PERFECT record of being wrong intact!

Comey not only verified that Trump is not and never was under any investigation...but he also verified that he TOLD Trump he wasn't.

Rochard...you are sheer perfection...in the art of being wrong. lol

Yep...he stated very succinctly that all those stories were false.

Just as I've been saying. The Washington Post is making up shit that it WANTS to put out there...and CNN just reports it as "fact" with no journalistic integrity whatsoever.

And then, that causes half the people in this country to lose their minds and start doing and saying some of the stupidest shit I've ever heard.

"Treason", "Trump is a Russian spy", etc.

And all of that turned out to be FALSE.
But CNN just keeps feeding it as they try to diminish Trump's presidency and keep him from implementing his agenda.

The LAST thing that the Democrats and their sycophants in the media want is for Trump to be successful. Because then they have no chance at regaining power for themselves.

It's so easy to see...but yet so many people are so full of irrational hatred that they simply can not.
