Al Gore?s New Group Demands $15 Trillion To Fight Global Warming

Al Gore wants $15 trillion dollars (yes, TRILLION) to fight imaginary climate change

:pimp

Once again
Hey fucktard where does it say we are going to pay the 15 trillion carbon tax that al gore suggests?

you can post all the links to stories of how al wants 15 trillion! Post a link where it says we are going to pay it!

Yes it's a result mostly from burning fossil fuels. The solution is NOT to pay 15 trillion to some shady politicians, bankers, and corporations. The solution is to switch to plant based fuels. :2 cents:

I never mentionned that ... Don't say what I mean, because you have no idea what I mean or think ....
I quoted what I quoted and it says clearly what it says .. no need for your interpretation or your deflection ...

Your article states this: "However, there is convincing evidence - including the accelerated melting of Greenland and Antarctica - that this speed is actually increasing, and increasing exponentially,"

This is what the Al Gore film said. The predictions about the increased rates were wildly inaccurate.

this is an option for countries like brazil where the climate is favorable and the soil is relatively unstressed...it will never happen in other countries simply because of climate...

Measuring sea levels by millimeters :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh Did they draw a line in the sand?

What ever is true, it's a good first step for better environment when all cars, trucks and buses in the world runs on electricity or better and the juice produced is also environment friendly.

No smart guy, there are buoys all over the ocean that have satellite GPS systems. They can measure the average water height, wave height and water temperature...

A yes I'm sure those are so precise you can narrow it down to millimeters. Give me a fucking break. Why did they only give examples of 1993 and 2014 increase? Do they only check them every 21 years or are those the only two years that showed an increase? I'm asking as a joke really because there's no way a bouy is going to measure levels in millimeters.

jscott 06-28-2017 01:46 PM

gotta be an idiot to not take climate change seriously, especially those of you with children, they'll have shit worse than us, because of us :disgust

That's the thing - scientists are saying that 1,2,3 degrees celsius, will make a huge difference.

Did you know that there are different kinds of ice? And that the difference is important to know? And that the amount of ice decreases and increases with the seasons? And that the rate of change and when it changes makes all the difference too?

Try to understand this. The science of Climate Change is really complex and detailed, and there are industries out there who don't want you to understand what is happening, and try to dumb-it down, and spoon-feed people the wrong information so they just keep doing what they're doing and looking the other way. Try not to be one of those people.

That's not how it works. The plan is to encourage growth in green businesses, and discourage growth in polluting businesses.

Companies who pollute more, pay more. Companies that pollute less, pay less. Companies that go green or can put measures in place to stop or reverse pollution, can get some of that money as subsidies or tax credits.

What you may not realize is that the cost of gasoline is more than what you pay at the pump, but that cost is being hidden from you, and damaging the planet.

Not only that, but you can get the DATA from these buoys too: https://podaac.jpl.nasa.gov/S-NPP
