Yeah, salary + commission would be a better compensation package.

This is what I'm gonna do:
* Go there myself and recruit girls in person.
* After X weeks of doing it myself, I'll figure out how its done and can train scouts as well as know the compensation for the models and scouts.

Obviously, I'll be looking for other methods of model recruitment but I have a background in in-person, cold-approach sales; so, I still think this approach could be feasible.

1 model/week is a very low quota and, given a city like Prague is huge and has a large tourist population, it could be:
* 1 backpacker tourist who needs some money to continue traveling
* a student who is fed up with her minimum wage job
* an Erasmus student who wants to have a fun experience abroad

If Scentiologists can get people to pay to be brainwashed, if Jehovahs Witnesses can get people to believe they can live for 1,000 years, and if Herbalife can get people to think that they'll get rich selling something everyone else is selling; I'm sure getting 1 girl/week to do a porn is easy.

You will find it doesn't work. there are no back packers, very few fed up doing minimum wages jobs and very few females in the country. There are lots of legal brothels where girls can work and keep it private.

OP, focus all your time, energy and attention on finding one open minded, financially motivated female with an outgoing and slightly rebelous personality to act as your recruiter/agent. Find that individual, and the models will flow in.

I had three women working for me who all speak fluent Czech, plus a fully equipped studio and I could charm birds from the trees. And it did not work for me.

How much are you going to pay girls? $500 to $1,000 a day. good luck doing that with a newbie who had never thought of doing porn. On the other hand girls that do porn will do it for $500 to $1,000 a day.

Why not go to one of the many agents in Czech? That's the simplest and easiest method yet for some reason you want to do it the way no one else has had success at doing it. Why is that?

Paul, if previously shot models is good enough, absolutely go with the agency.

In our case, we were looking for fresh models never published before. Private agent/recruiter was best.

Recruiter received a % of what the model earned on each shoot, and when we were able to lock the model into a exclusive, whereby the model was on rev share, so was the recruiter.

We made our money shooting girls who had never done it before. The best way is to employ a person who speaks the local language and advertising. It can be one of the assistants or photographer if you don't have a wife.

I've never shot a prostitute before, at least to the best of my knowledge. I've explained my procedure in order to recruit models and I've been doing it for almost 13 years now. Why do they shoot with me? I would say because they are very real and extremely amateur girls that are looking for either the attention, money ...who knows? But they are certainly not street prostitutes. The vast majority of the models on my site have day jobs right around my local area.

Perhaps this is not the "typical" way of recruiting models, but it's the way I've always done it, and aside from going through only 1 agency and shooting roughly 15 of their models, there are nearly 270 amateur models on my website. The remaining models (approximately 255 amateur girls) were recruited by myself.

Now try that method in a foreign country where you don't speak the language.

Since I'll be financing this new business from another business's cash flow, I'd rather keep the cost as low as possible for now; so, no agency or recruiter.

A pay site with only 1 video is... errr.... kinda pathetic so I'll film 4 videos first, then finance the next 12 films too (3 months worth of films)($8,000 total). Then, I'd have a clear idea if the pay site works out.

At $500/video, 1 video/week, and $20/month subscription, I need to get at least 113 subscribers in 3 months!!!

Ok naysayer.

Have you ever though for a minute that something could be done totally better than how you've been doing it? It doesn't mean that how you've been doing it is/was wrong, it just means that my business objectives are different than yours, which results in different SOPs and hence a different recruitment process.

Also, since you mention titty bar, one of the benefits of working for an amateur film company that recruits models from bars, clubs, strip clubs, and wherever else is that the bar, club, strip club, etc trips count as business expenses; so, yeah, instead of spending my post-tax money at the bar or club or titty bar or whatever, I'll have a Recruitment Fund, which I'll use on my nights out.

The situation is different in Europe.

The central-European countries are very small compared to the whole USA and each country has different culture, different language, mentality, traditions. You can't compare that. The girls here are much more concerned about privacy and they often live with parents till 25.

I believe this is ineffective - like buying unfiltered traffic to promote a niche specific site. It would be much more effective to use ads and only target girls that are somehow interested in photo modeling - then select out those who want to do nude/erotic stuff. Models that only do non nude might still change their mind if the offer is well paid.
