One of my best friends served in the Marines. He was in combat in the Persian Gulf War and he was also stationed in Somalia for a while and saw some really nasty shit. Good move on the Donald's part. Now repeal allowing gays to serve as well as women. The WAVES's, WAC's, SPAR's etc. needs to be reactivated if women want to serve. BTW the draft should also be reinstated as well. Also the pay should be minimal for draftees, and for those that choose to re-enlist for a second term be paid well.

I am a Marine, went through Paris Island; Paris Island is where they train women Marines. (We called them "WMs" although I believe that term is no longer used.) Marines in training, in boot camp, go through something called the crucible. It's a three day event where they go through simulated combat situations and are not allowed to sleep. Women Marines go through this also.

If you don't know I can't tell you. It has to come down to individual cases and once you start to do that it's impossible to decide.

One transgender man in a fighting unit can have a difference. 50/50 between Black and White doesn't. Not so long ago 1 Black in a unit did make a difference.
