Melania, so far, may have ditched some of the staff, but she made up for the cost difference by living in a completely different city for the first 4-5 months of Trump's presidency costing taxpayers about $8.5 million. Maybe she won't end up with a staff and she won't take on initiatives. That's fine. It doesn't mean that Michelle Obama did anything wrong.
