ALL types of traffic?

I just have a hard time believing that. The first link goes to a site that has the title, "Home Town Amateurs" yet the actors look nothing like amateurs. It's good content but nothing that hasn't been done many times over the last decade.

I'd be happy with 1:2000 and I have amateur traffic. Real people no bots, trades etc... My best ratios with highly targeted traffic to amateur programs which fit perfectly with my domains (you can't get a better match) are 1:7000 ...

Unless your traffic is so filtered - meaning it's really 1:8000 but by filtering and filtering some more you dwindle it down to 1:400 then I get it. But even organic traffic sent to those tours won't give you 1:400.

I can find almost any content I want on Tumblr for free. Then there's reddit and forums and lets not forget tubes.

Why would someone pay for that when hundreds of thousands of videos and video clips like it are available free.

Is there anything that most program owners and webmasters are missing that Karups and ATK have figured out?

When it comes to straight-up membership sites I have seen 'some' money. But it has to be exclusive and very niche. And you have to find just the right audience. You can't just throw up a general porn site and skim tube traffic and convert.

But the problem is that the ROI is so bad that it pretty much makes any wise Webmaster stop before they even get started. If you know that you will most likely spend more than you will make (and this includes time) and you are technically in a market that is quickly going extinct, then whats the point?

As an experiment I started a few member sites hoping that there may still be some money in it. Also the fact that many membership sites have closed lessens the competition. And I did make some money and I'm sure if I worked everyday constantly I could get enough rebills to make some decent passive income, but it's a big IF and does not really seem worth the time anymore. Because like many have already said, you can find virtually anything for free so what's the point.

And for those sites that are still doing well, I wonder how many of their members even know they are members. I used to make money from people that were members for years that never even logged in. They just joined one night, had fun and forgot they ever joined and never got around to cancelling. I even sent out announcements but they probably were never read or went to spam.

Even selling traffic will eventually die out because if it does not convert (because no one buys anything), then people will see no return and stop buying.

It's kinda funny but when tubes came out I thought that it was the anti-porn people that started them. Because what better way to kill an industry then give it all away for free.

Money is still there, but it has to be interactive or tangible.

yes really, my own stats this month is 101:1 but inc. other affiliates to my site like freeones, rabbits review & many other large webmasters, the stats show for this month is 310:1 traffic to sale ratio.

My site is updated daily and has a continuous flow of members and reasonable retention thumbsup

I got ALL wrong then :( ...

All the low hanging fruit is now free on the tube sites.

With all traffic. That is our ratios across the board with no filtering out anything. Tube, organic, tgp, fhg's, blogs, forums, you name it.

I have my own network of free sites that promotes Allover30 from CraziesCash. For 2017, my ratios are 1:301 with decent volume of traffic and sales. They also rebill great.

There is still plenty of sales out there to be had if you work on quality sites, with quality traffic. You can have a defeatist attitude and fulfill that prophecy. But we have many people still doing $1K+ a month in revshare. Using various methods to do it. We have tube submitters that do good. We have index type sites, review sites, even a few large picture tgp networks that still make bank with traffic, sales and rebills.

But no question a lot of the "hobbyists" that just throw up things and not put thought and time into promotion have fallen by the wayside. We have seen a lot of those guys fade away over the past few years.

Yes, they are definitely a "we find you" program.

With Rabbit's and Freeones I can see a good ratio because they likely get SEO traffic with surfers 'specifically' looking for the girl or site you're selling.

Well, I can't dispute anything you're saying since I don't have access to your stats but I checked out 2 of your karups sites and the trailer vids, and they showed 2 porn stars on a couch? Nothing that stands out from all of the other thousands of videos that have been made already in the last 10 years or so. Why that site would convert at 1:300 ... I have no clue. I don't see it. The Karups amateur vid trailer shows again porn stars and not amateurs?

I don't see any reason why these sites are doing 1:300 (including allover30) and why so many other sites have closed up shop. I don't see what stands out about them and why freesites and blogs and tgps and tubes are making money with these sites (as you say) and not with other membership sites.

For KarupsHA, we shoot mostly porn girls in their first few scenes before they become girls that stick around for awhile. Some will last a year, some a few months, and some just fall by the wayside. We went to pro-am about 8 years ago, as that is what the numbers dictated we do. We tweak, listen to feedback, update a ton, and give the members what they want.

Our biggest site is actually KarupsOW. That site does under 1:500 overall, but also gets far more traffic and joins.

You can ignore what I say, and that's fine. But if you want to make money outside of just cams, then I am telling you there are sites out there that still convert great, and at good volume.

Gary's site does far too few joins and traffic to give any weight too. You can find tons of super small sites with limited traffic with good ratios. Those have no meaning. Even we are just a mid tier company when you compare to sites like Vixen, FakeHub, TeamSkeet, RK, Brazzers etc. But even at our mid tier level we pay out many affiliates $1K+ a month.

Another site that does great ratios and rebills is We Are Hairy. Basil has a great product that retains.

You are welcome. I just want to see people that want to make money, make money. There is no question that the levels of traffic needed to get great numbers is very high. And its much harder to get to the mid to high $x,xxx monthly ranges, especially organic and not doing media buys. But we still see new and relatively new affiliates come into the system and build up to good recurring revenues from us.

But I definitely encourage you if you have mature traffic to push Allover30 as well. We Are Hairy if you got Hairy traffic. ATK Hairy I used to get great numbers for, but it got pretty saturated, so I have found I need to send more volume to them to get the sale vs We Are Hairy. Rebills for all three are strong once you get them in the door.

If in doubt, kill their monetization strategy.

Back in the day before free took over. The biggest money was in selling porn. From High Street shops to the large paysites. Now there are crumbs left in promoting other porn products and mainstream products by giving away free porn. Both legal and pirated.

I don´t purchase traffic, something that I´m still considering but haven´t needed to so far. However, the ratio was general over all. Affiliates from this board have gained a sale every 300 hits or so also :thumbsup

I think you´re talking about my old sites, since being with ModelCentro I have many more hits per day & many more sales, life´s good :thumbsup
