I read something earlier today that he could make upwards of $250 million depending on how many pay per view buys there were. It had to be a lot because they had to delay the fight because cable companies' servers were crashing from the load.

He is a great, accurate puncher, so if you get tired and let your guard down for a second, he will hit you.

He may have done this the first and part of the second round, but he abandoned that strategy and started marching forward, which surprised the commentators. I'm not a huge Mayweather fan because I think he lacks the power needed to be called the best pound for pound. However, he's probably the best-conditioned fighter I've ever seen, he seems to find a way to always have the energy to outlast his opponents.

His conditioning and his ability to make other fighters wear themselves out is his biggest strength. He finds a way to get things into the later round where his opponent gets tired and he can take over.

It was pretty obvious, McGregor knows how to fight in a cage but he doesn't know how to box.

McGregor looked gassed out in 3rd round of Diaz #2 fight. I have no idea why anyone would think that he can last 12 of boxing. Too bad ref stopped the fight.

I'm curious to know... how did:

boxing fans enjoyed the fight?

mma fan enjoyed the fight?

I thought it was a fun fight and i'm surprised it went to 10 rounds.

Completely wrong, McGregors boxing skills surprised just about everyone, as nobody had this fight lasting more than 5 rounds. Floyd even said he was surprised with Connor's footwork and ability to come at him from all different angles. The difference is, with 8 ounce gloves, Connor has to land three times as many shots to do the damage he is used to inflicting with 4 ounce gloves and there was no way he was going to land that many on Floyd.

With mma, you're giving and taking kicks, grappling and defending takedowns, all of this causes a lot more exertion than boxing only. Also, in boxing, you're getting a break every 3 min, vs 5 min in an mma match. It's not really a fair comparison to say because he was gassed in the 3rd round of an mma match that he couldn't go longer in boxing.

anyone can fight anyway, itīs down to the fighter.

Gary was taught & is Black belt in Tang Soo Do or Moo Duk Kwan, this is a south korean martial art, similar to what the US army use. He also trained for months in Thai Boxing. When he got to Thai Boxing, his training showed everyone up, he was doing 200 rabbit jumps and others were knackered at 100 etc...

A completely different style, and yet, he went in the ring many times & won against the guys who had trained for years in that style. He also went into boxing & similar happened. You do the style, itīs whether or shall I be amusing, Itīs mayweather youīre good or not :)
