I kid you not. This morning our leader called Puerto Ricans "politically motivated ingrates".

You cant' make this shit out up. In the middle of a natural disaster our president called American citizens "ingrates". Holy fucking shit.

Trump calls his Puerto Rico critics ‘politically motivated ingrates’ | New York Post

Because they are intentionally not distributing aid. Personally I would have called them worse.

Rochard, that's why we voted for him. To call it like it is.
The local govt. in Puerto Rico is notoriously corrupt and inefficient.
And in a natural disaster that is EXACTLY the time to call them out and get their asses to helping their constituents instead of lining their own pockets.

If this were Obama saying the exact same thing...the media would be praising him to the sky for his fantastic leadership.
Three massive hurricanes...and FEMA and the military under the Trump administration have responded better than any time in history.
Mostly because of all the mistakes that have been made in the past by other administrations trying to deal with these kinds of things...it's easy for the Trump admin to not make those same mistakes.

You seem to think that Trump tweeting that a local mayor is showing poor leadership (and Trump is in a position to know far more than you) is the most horrible thing in the world.
And then you turn around and think it's just great to have the establishment anti-Trump media attack the President DURING A NATURAL DISASTER.

Hypocrite much?

Robbie 10-01-2017 09:21 AM

By the way Rochard...you are WRONG again.

Trump didn't call "Puerto Ricans" "ingrates"

He called POLITICIANS ingrates.

Here is the EXACT quote:
“We have done a great job with the almost impossible situation in Puerto Rico,” Trump said over three, 140-character maximum tweets. “Outside of the Fake News or politically motivated ingrates … people are now starting to recognize the amazing work that has been done by FEMA and our great Military. All buildings now inspected … ...for safety.

“Thank you to the Governor of P.R. and to all of those who are working so closely with our First Responders. Fantastic job!”
---

You see that Rochard? The shit you posted IS "fake news". You took one word "ingrates" and applied it to the people of Puerto Rico.

That's just plain out bullshit deception on your part.
Why? What is the purpose of spreading stupidity?

When asked about Cruz?s ?genocide? statement, Perez said, ?I don?t know why she is saying that. What I can tell you is my experience. She is not participating in any meetings and we had a couple already with the governors and with representation of FEMA and of HUD, of these whole federal agencies that have given us help and she?s not participating in those meetings and some mayors from her political party have been participating, so I don?t know why she is saying that. Let's see this play out for the next months, and if it doesn't become Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome in Puerto Rico, with hundreds of lives lost then I'll say Trump did a good job (and that's a low bar). But that won't happen because he's incapable of doing a good job.

Robbie 10-01-2017 10:26 AM

Just watched CNN and they had their usual "talk show" (they don't bother reporting news anymore).
This was Jake Tapper's "show" (he's not a news anchor anymore).
And the panel of "experts" were painting this as Trump being...racist.

Wow. That's all those people do is try to divide the country with racial divisiveness.
EVERYTHING Trump says or does is "racist" according to CNN.

Trump says that illegal Mexican immigrants include rapists and murderers that local Mexican govt.'s free from jail....RACIST.
NFL players disrespect the flag and the country by taking a knee and Trump says they should be fired for it? RACIST
Puerto Rico mayor attacks Trump on the news...Trump responds that she is a poor leader...the news headlines are "Trump Slams Puerto Rico Mayor As She Begs For Help".
And it's...RACIST.

Shit is getting so old from the establishment media.

For the moment I think all of that should be put aside. I would feed my neighbour even if he hated me in a time of need or disaster.

What Trump needs to do is show what a good person in power would do in this case: Mobilize all resources and speed endless help to Puerto Rico, worry about everything else later.

No. No, no, no, no, no, no.

The President of the United States is our leader, he is in charge; If the government in Puerto Rico is notoriously corrupt and inefficient, it's up to our president to take charge, handle the situation, and fix it.

Holy crap.... In your quote he called them "politically motivated ingrates". When he says "politically motivated ingrates" he isn't talking about the press. The press isn't "ingrates"; The press are't un-thankful for anything nor is the press on the receiving end of any aid. He is calling the people of Puerto Rico "ingrates".

We have the worst natural disaster in my lifetime and our President went off to play golf for six days and his entire administration went dark. He did nothing.

He is doing what he is supposed to do Mark. But at the same time it's imperative that the local govt. (like the Mayors) do THEIR jobs. This particular Mayor is using this crisis for political brownie points with her party.

She came out swinging at FEMA, the military, and the entire response team while SHE is blocking needed help from getting to her people.
It reminds me of the incompetence and corruption of New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin during Katrina.

Do you recall that?

I do.

CNN and MSNBC touted him as a "hero" and he lashed out at Bush and FEMA and blamed them for everything.

Of course...it turned out that Nagin was NOT a "hero" but was a corrupt Mayor who was stealing.

Here's where he ended up:
"In 2014, Nagin was convicted on twenty of twenty-one charges of wire fraud, bribery, and money laundering related to bribes from city contractors before and after Katrina and was sentenced to ten years in federal prison"

So yeah...Trump DOES need to call this Mayor of San Juan out for incompetence. If you read the detailed actual NEWS about this (and not the establishment media biased opinion pieces)...then you will see that she is not cooperating with FEMA or the military and isn't even attending the meetings with the other Mayors and the Governor.

The media SHOULD be calling her out. But just like Nagin...they are going to paint her as a hero and the EVIL Republican President as the bad guy.

And then when the truth is revealed? They will mention it in passing and go on to their next fake news story attacking Trump.

It's disgusting.

You just don't understand anything it seems. You are so hate-filled it makes you blind to the truth.
As Trump would tweet: "Sad".

His administration didn't go "Dark".
What the fuck is wrong with you?
FEMA and the military are down there busting their ass with the full force of the U.S. govt.
Trump will be there on Tuesday. Your brain just turns off when Trump is concerned.

Now it's coming out that the teamsters union sabotaged the relief efforts as well. All starting to make sense now.

Liberals seem to think the way to fix their failing party is to continue on lying and deceiving. I hope the Governor orders an investigation and puts the key players in jail for what is essentially murder.

The President is the Executive Branch of the Federal Govt.
He is not in charge of states or territories. The Governors are. And the cities are run by Mayors.
Dude..seriously? You don't even understand how government works?

How do you think that a place like San Francisco can declare itself a "sanctuary city"?
Or how Nevada and other states can legalize recreational marijuana even though it's against Federal law?

The Mayor of San Juan is in charge of San Juan. She and her administration have to cooperate with FEMA and the military.
She is not.

You need to go back to school and take a civics class.

Yes, she is an ingrate and a bad leader.

Wading in water doesn't make you a good leader or even a good person. Ray Nagin did the same thing in New Orleans during Katrina.
He was hailed as a HERO by CNN.
He is now in Federal prison for stealing money during Katrina.

That's what a Mayor who is waist deep in water with a bullhorn means...NOTHING.
Action is what is called for. Not photo ops for your lying, fake news CNN to broadcast.

Why isn't she going to the meeting with the other mayors , the governor, FEMA, and the military to coordinate efforts? Why is she not allowing food and supplies that are sitting RIGHT THERE to be distributed.

I'm quite sure if it were you in need of food, water or medicine, you would like to have someone who did whatever it took to get it to you.
Do you think as a individual your voice would speak as loudly there as it does here.

Most of you have been severely misled by the lying liberal media.

FACTS: We have sent thousands of shipping containers full of food and medicine to the port of a city run by Democrats, under the full administration of the Democrats, with a distribution effort coordinated with trucking unions run by Democrats, who are refusing to Distribute the goods, in an effort to make Trump look bad.

Yeah, it's all Trump's fault! LOL!! Get some facts people, then maybe you won't look so foolish. Looking at you Crockett, Mark, Rochard, Bronco, Andy, and Thommy.... Try getting fact-based news. Just a suggestion.
