Hi Everyone,

After further investigation we have found that during our migration process there has been in fact a leak bug, after careful calculation we estimate it has been around 0.5%.

We have corrected this bug across all sites, the cookie issue has been resolved.

Next week we will be going through all accounts and will be correcting any missing signups that have been effected by this bug.

I would further like to add that as a team and company we are transparent with our affiliates and are willing to address any concerns as they happen - please be sure to reach out to us privately if there are further questions regarding this matter.

Translation, we got caught fucking over our affiliates, so let's admit there was a teeny tiny problem caused by a programming error and hope affiliates are stupid enough to trust us again.

I am sorry that you feel the need to continue the public slandering - I find it both distasteful and inaccurate.

Cassandram, there's no slander in this thread. Slander = False claims. My claims were well documented and confirmed by other independent webmasters.

It should be noted, cassandram, that your latest update directly and blatantly contradicts your first defensive post.
"there is no [cookie] over ride at all for any pops of any kind"
-vs-
"leak bug" (whatever the hell that means)
and
"We have corrected this bug across all sites, the cookie issue has been resolved."

Despite your grandiose "NO SHAVE" claims, you guys got caught overwriting affiliate cookies -- in an obvious and prolific way. Your .5% claim is pure bullshit, and you know it. You know this has been going on for years. It's precisely why I pulled my links long ago.

-----

Having said that... it seems that you've cleaned it up a lot now. I just tested my links. It appears that my cookies are sticking, and are not being overwritten. A dramatic improvement.

Other positive points to mention...
  1. The join form leaks have been fixed. They no longer link out to console-enabled tours. Massive improvement.
  2. The tour page leak drawer (fixed to the bottom of some tour pages) is still there, but it seems that the cookies now persist from site to site. This was positively NOT the case previously as you claimed. Much improved.
  3. It appears that the Black Friday console no longer overwrites affiliate cookies like it did previously. Much better.
  4. The join page console (when backing off the join page) is gone. So cookies appear to persist even when the surfer leaves the join page. Good.
  5. In my test, I didn't see the notorious 15673 cookie at all.

Final thoughts...
  1. Note my use of *seems* and *appears* above. Sextronix could be faking these improvements. If they want to shave you, they'll find a way. In any case, Sextronix has proven that you have to watch them closely. I suggest you check your links/cookies carefully and often if you decide to promote them.
  2. Sextronix' entire business model is still built on fucking surfers with fine print and cross sells. Obviously, that's nothing new in this industry -- but $100+ on a "free" signup is pure shit (you fucking hear me CECash, WhaleCash, et. al?). That business model is dying and if you want to keep up, it's time to adapt. Now. :2 cents:
  3. Sextronix has been around since the stone ages. While many others have disappeared, they're still here.
  4. Sextronix always paid me (when I promoted them). Every time. And I can't say that about several other sponsors I've used.
  5. That's why I have a lingering hope they'll get their shit together. Reinvent themselves. And begin building a new legacy.

Somebody please check my findings. I'm interested to see if anyone else notices the improvements and/or if you even care any more.

Your "explanation" clearly does not address the claims being made by the OP.

So.. wow.

Bug? Stop lying.. You fucked affiliates over and are now responding this way because someone pointed that out and showed proof. You're company made a bad move and you should feel bad for supporting it.

Why private? Looks like this is a good way to be sure people chime in and get the response affiliates need. :2 cents:

You fucked up, people pulled their links and you guys need to fix that. Not in private, but in public.. So you can earn our trust and traffic back.

Because your business is not the only business we can promote as affiliates. :winkwink:

Please be honest from now on... Stop the shady tactics.

Just curious how you arrived at this number.

Because she desperately wants this thread to sink away into oblivion.

I could not agree more. I know a lot of sponsors have it hard. But affiliates have zero recourse and the sponsors know it. Public accountability is right and necessary in this biz. :2 cents:

Opened someone's ass, reached in deep, pulled out the lowest number they could find.

The number simply cannot be that low. That join form exit console was overwriting every single cookie I tested. Every single time. Without fail. The only avenue to avoid the overwrite was to join directly through one of the fake-video join forms.

Any excursion through signup.html would result in an overwrite.
Any leaked clicks to a console-enabled tour would result in an overwrite.

I cannot say how long this lasted, but I know it had been going on to different degrees for a very long while (years).

That's why _Richard_ is not off the hook in my mind, though I'm not sure when he left.

I see no good response, links pulled, great research bro :pimp

SpicyM 11-30-2017 05:20 PM

yeah.. it was an accident, some nasty bug ripping off their affiliates appeared mysteriously on all their sites :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Shitster 11-30-2017 05:25 PM

This thread stinks :(

As always I wish / hoped for a quick resolution in these threads. Thanks for proving your concern and the rest of us able to test it ourselves and decide if we want to promote them or not.

Tjeezers 12-01-2017 07:40 AM

Link removal will take a long time, but it will be done. Your name colored red on our sheets and this means Good bey.

I replicated the problem last week, just wondering if the posters here who jumped in for them, did they do this cause they are not affected, or did not took the time to replicate the problem?

This question needs a clear answer so we can see if only affiliates with certain qualifications got screwed, like sending to less traffic or something? that could be a qualification? Its a shame to see how they dealt with this.

Show me at least a screen where you have your unpaid amount printed out.
