An update on my condition is, I'm pretty well fucked. My prostate is swollen stopping me from pissing without the use of a catheter which is a long tube. My left kidney is on the brink of collapse, right one is gone. Heart is also not performing so I find it hard to breath, lungs have water in them.

I have at last got a decent connection so expect a few posts.

They're not considered liberal here in Europe.

A lot of this is in the mind, if you want to live longer you can live longer, all depends how much you want it

Sounds familiar. If they still have you on IV you may want to consider asking if you could go without (except for pain :). If you are retaining fluids it should be obvious to not introduce more but they kept on pumping them into my dad right until the end and essentially drowned him to death.

How is the Czech hospital system ?? or should I head back to Canada when I need a major health intervention...Are there nice nurses etc...?

Paul be sure to brush your teeth/mouthwash & wear deodorant. Now and then put a splash of cologne on too you want to smell as good as possible for those nurses cupping your balls while they sponge bath you and before you know it you'll be back to your old ways
