That was my point all along. The Feds taking over the state's land is not the way the govt. is SUPPOSED to work.
What Trump did was restore the land to the state of Utah where it rightfully should be.

I don't have a portfolio anymore. The housing market collapse and subsequent economic downturn prompted me to sell off everything back in 2013.

Too bad. I would be doing fantastic now with the market at new record levels on a daily basis (and about to take off even further with tax reform and corporate tax cuts). But at the time I had to do what I had to do.

Millions of retirees are seeing their personal wealth skyrocket as their retirement funds and 401K accounts are now at record highs.

Actually, No. Except for a few annoyances here and there, we've got it pretty good. We have cheap green'ish energy (in Quebec at least), free medical care, clean air and water, and a shitload of beautiful parks to enjoy. Yes there's always some dick trying to ruin everything and there's a few ugly messes here and there, but overall there's little to bitch about.

You know me better than that. Who owns what as far as all that land goes is not really my concern. My real concern is what will happen to the land next. Will oil or mining companies start digging it up? Maybe. Will they pollute and destroy it? I really hope not. If they try to, will Trump step-up and tell them to clean their shit up? Who knows.
