I wouldn't be so happy about that. Poland is a target #1 and that's why Russia has Iskanders in Kaliningrad. In Holland we voted against the EU "association treaty" (translated: future EU member state) with Ukraine in a referendum. And since every EU member country needs to unanimously approve it, our trusty Dutch government totally ignored the advice of their own citizens, wiped their asses off with our votes and approved it anyway. First of all, that previous ukr gov wasnt that anti-EU actually...they just wanted to pretend that its possible to stay in the middle and make their nation prosperous.
Meanwhile, Ukrainians: have been seeing how they actually are stuck in place and no go forward at all. An how their government robs them, literally shitting on gold toilets in private villas..
When the Ukrs saw how the things dont go nowhere for themselves (various, reasons, long story) they got pissed off, even more when they discovered (like they would know it before) than their president is actually uberthief :-)

So it is the Ukrainians that made the revolution, not the EU. EU oligarchs just tried to exploit the situation LATER, I heard that now Ukr is in open trde with EU...whatever that means for Ukraine :)

Do not put them in the same raw. The cases are real different. If Litvinienko was a personal hater of Putin, the other ones were not a problem to him. Navalny is a problem, but not some Politkovskaya, who I believe he knew about only when she was killed by Chechens.

FYI: All normal Russians are going to boycott the elections, because Navalny will not participate. Putin is rally scared of him. He even never called his name. Yeah, I don't understand why people just think things are so simple. Like all you have to do is riot in the streets for a few days and he will just step down and go off into the sunset. Doesn't he have his own private army backed by him personally? That's deterrence enough really.
