I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before that I voted for Bernie Sanders in the primary and Gary Johnson in the general. However, I will say that I and many other said the same thing about the bitcoin posters when bitcoin was at $1. They told us how it would X, and Y, and Z, and we told them to shut up and go away. They had the same annoying evangelistic air and tendency to post over and over again in broken English.

This forum has never been a serious business forum, its always been filled with wannabes looking to make a quick buck. I learned a long time ago the best way to throw your money away is to attempt to do business with someone here. Whether it was hosting, programming or marketing more than half the people I considered a business relationship on here were literally drug addicts living in their moms basement. It is the LAST place I would look to do business with anyone. To say this used to be a serious business forum compared to now is laughable at best.

Well again, that's a choice. If it were me I would do what I actually already do, which is only 'participate' in what I feel is worth my time, is fun, or is business-related. I generally don't get involved with political threads (except to say how absurd both sides are).

It is frustrating so I know where you are coming from but seeing the word 'Trump' makes my morning editing of what to read (and what not to read) much easier. :)

Lets not kid ourselves. GFY was always this way ,there was just alot more business going on at the same time. I remember posting in threads asking for a monthly fee driven webmaster forum in gfy so it would only be business there. You have to figure since the height, the industry has shrunk probably 75 percent. That's a whole lot less people chatting on a board about anything. I remember Crockett from before,so he didnt just pop up.
It shocks me that companies still put ads here, it must just be habit because I cant see the ROI on them being worth it. I also dont think anyone is paid to be a political shill here, think about it as a business person. If you were paying someone ,you want them somewhere they can have the most reach.
