Putin has closed Russian bases in Cuba and Vietnam, while Yeltsin and Gorbachev have not even thinked about that. Putin has asked Bush. Jr. to accept Russia into NATO - yes, for real. Putin has allowed the US forces to use Russian military bases in Asia. You say Putin is pro-Trump. Yes, he is and Trump is your president, if you forgot it. He is not pro-Kim Jong-un, right? Vladimir Valimirovich is the most pro-American Russian leader ever. Enjoy him while he's alive. When he's die (everyone dies), there will be a new president and he won't be so tolerant to your country - just remember my words.
Why are you specifically addressing this to me?

I have seen it on the State TV in somewhat 2001. I can't unsee what has been seen. And yes, that's 100% true. Perhaps it's somewhere on yourtube today. Putin was so frickin' pro-American. So Russia could become a NATO member, much stronger and much more reliable than Turkey, Spain, Italy or anything else...
Ras-Putin wasnt first who proposed it. Actually that discussion was going on (sometimes) in 90s. it was proposed by some people and voices on both sides after communism ended...It was rejected by hard heads on both sides I think. And it's not a surprise to me for sure. Russia & Nato countries have and had different geopolitical interests, and different type of governments. Russians always like to do things "their way" inside their borders and with their policies. Kind of Impossible to find compromise IMO, but well.. Turkey is also part of NATO...
In 1990, while negotiating German reunification at the end of the Cold War with United States Secretary of State James Baker, Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev said that "You say that NATO is not directed against us, that it is simply a security structure that is adapting to new realities ... therefore, we propose to join NATO." However, Baker dismissed the possibility as a "dream".[118]
I don't address it to anybody (do you see there your street and home number?) I just click the "reply" button. That's how this forum engine works.

And this "dream" may end up very bad, especially for Poland, Germany and Czech Republic in the few first minutes, while a mutual ICBM strike with the States will take about 30-40 minutes. Do you understand that your country is a first target for these nuke launchers:
I don't think that the US missiles in Poland can intercept Russian ICBMs (that's just impossible like hit a bullet with another one), but if we just imagine that it's theoretically possible... Let's use the simple logic: which country will be wiped out first in case of any serious war conflict between Russia and NATO? Poland is a cannon fodder for the USA and that's a fact.
The "funny" thing is that in the last minute the USA and Russia will make some agreement to not destroy themselves, but your country will already not exist. And that's also a fact.

The only reason the US will now revamp our nuclear arsenal is because Putin restarted the arms race by developing new nuclear weapons..
Yea it's all Putins fault... Jesus, life must be so simple when everything is so cartoonishly black and white as you actually believe :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

P.S. Just googled it. Here is the article: Putin suggested Russia joining NATO to Clinton - The Hindu - but I remember there was Bush Jr. Maybe Putin did it two times in front of two US presidents... At least he has tried all the best to be friends of the USA. The next president will be different... He won't be pro-American at all. He will be a way different - just believe me.
seems more like Putin trolling her.. russian media still has a massive hard-on for her

It would be well. I'd said much better than today. Putin is a very pro-western guy. Don't listen what he says, look what he really does. He is the best friend of the USA for all the times.

Please read more carefully what you quoted. I posted about RUSSIA joining NATO, not eastern european countries. proposition to RUSSIA join nato was done several times in 90s. putin wasnt the first at all who proposed it.

It appears that that you did.
