For TPN, pretty sure I did not offer any advice to Make Me (although I do have more followers than her).

I know, I really donīt get it. I had marked my site as sensitive, no images naked on header or avatar and certainly didnīt attack or create any reason for worry of harm or abuse.

Itīs like OMFG, WTF :2 cents:

I'm wondering if only the views, link clicks and engagements are really what matters and that's where the focus should be.

Thoughts anyone?

Pretend to be pornstar which just happen to have a phone line :)

Twitter is worth it when you have something original to engage with. And it always helps to follow people who are in your line of business and enjoy a more collective effect on there. We have a few hundred K followers, and all generated by our models, quality of clicks is extreme high.

That is a pretty valid point; and yeah, I think it is more about the engagement.

It's not based on the potential embarrassment of porn star vs. phone sex company; it's about the porn star, the babe, the person the guy thinks she is or that she projects herself as. Guys want a "real" fantasy. They fall for the girl, not the company or cam site or magazine where they can find her. She leaves, they leave. That's why the best and biggest are out there, and their details are out there, and her persona developed and charisma layered on with every tweet, scene, post, gallery, appearance, email, cam or phone session. The more personal, interactive one-on-one time she can put in - live cams and phones, natch - the more engaged (and I don't mean in Facebook terms) your audience-of-ones become.

This is why Hef always had a full bio and developed the turn-ons/turn-offs forms behind the pinups. He made it personal. The bunny was more than a glossy paper photo-render of an impossible ideal, she was actualized into the fan's dimension or reality, making her a possibility for him, an actual person, somewhere out there, he could actually meet in real life - and it makes it easier to imagine an encounter for the admirer/customer/whale the more he thinks he knows how she'll actually re/act with him.

We guys are naturally romantic galoots with a wish-fulfilling fantasybone embedded deep in our lusty hearts and easily-devastated wallets.

That doesn't work with Twitter, because the content we use is guess what? Porn stars or models whatever. They USUALLY have their own twitter and then will call my girl out. We have even had the actual model harass us to take the content down even though it was purchased.

Like above, it would be much easier if we could do that. But it's just too easy to get called out on twitter, and it's happened a few times.

That's why I like to keep unidentifiable photos with sayings or whatever on there because then they just can't call you out on a public forum.

People buy a Playboy and no one else has to know. Twitter puts you out there. I know people that have Internet names because they have political ambitions.

People like looking at pics. Cute girls can get 5 or 6 figures easily

You ARE in a tough bind because as others have said, it's all about the girl. And with phone sex it's NOT visual (that's the appeal). So how do you promote an auditory experience in a visual medium?

Maybe buying photos from an agency, the rights, and then if the model complains or calls you out you just show the contract and say STFU honeycakes. LOL

The other option is to go 'mainstream' and do tease-only type of photos. Women in business suits, teachers, nurses, whatever the fantasy is but 'stock' photos. Just trying to brainstorm some ideas here but I guess one would need a brain to do that sort of thing. LOL

fitty twits :upsidedow

davidCRM 01-24-2018 02:04 AM

i opened your twitter page.
a huge Philadelphia Eagles cover image hit my face. "ugh i am not into sports" and closed it immediately.
is it a sports twitter?

(hint: use an image fitting what you sell ;)

also: retweet relevant influencers. build rapport with them. respond to trending hashtags in your target demographics. do a rinse&repeat on following people and unfollowing them, keep up a good ratio.

The latter is definitely what my approach is. I think your brain is attractive =)

Even with owning the content, if the model is popular and has her own twitter, she will call you out to her FANS even if you own the content. Then THEY start harassing. I haven't had it happen on a company page, but definitely to some individual operators promoting themselves on twitter using licensed content.

Well, that's my home team! We want to promote sports specials over the next two weeks! =) Figure lots of guys will be tweeting about football, we can get in on those.

BUT advice was well taken and appreciated. NORMALLY there are a bunch of girls there in bikinis.

CaptainHowdy 01-24-2018 08:47 AM

Not enough nudity is my guess ...

then mix the two. slam some titties on the 2 sides and you're good. :thumbsup

MakeMeGrrrrowl 01-25-2018 08:41 AM

Yes David, you're right, sports and titties!!!! Great combination.

A girl Samantha G came to my twitter and immediately gave me some good advice. Even though baddog isn't sure what he's talking about, I took his advice and stopped posting every blog written and already gained 4 followers, from doing nothing.

I know the pond is big, I just have to figure out the bait.

Samantha 38G is awesome, and she has HUGE titts. The video of (then newcomer) Manuel Ferrara fucking her is a must-see for anyone in the industry. It's cool that she reached out to help you :thumbsup

Also which social media tools do you like best? I have tried hootsuite, crowdfire and currently using social ooph.

I can't say any program has really grabbed me though.

hootsuite is great for scheduling and posting on multiple platforms
use klout to see how much of an influencer you are

first and foremost draw out your goal. is it strengthening brand or making conversions? if the latter, are you going for getting new users or you want to do it retentive? (ie. keeping current users at buzz, getting back old users). All these paths need Very different tactics on social media.

emmasexytime 01-26-2018 03:42 AM

Twitter is for porn, but engagement is almost useless so that is why we are moving to facebook and instagram to get traffic from.

INever 01-26-2018 07:28 AM

You pay for followers, that's the game.

Yes you can it's common practice to buy engagement or manipulate it from other platforms, bots, etc.

oppoten 01-27-2018 11:16 PM

Twitter isn't playing fair.

If you're white, they don't want you to succeed. If you're not white, tell them.

DannyA 01-28-2018 12:42 AM

I don't tweet porn, but I do have a lot of success promoting my music with it. I write bots (not API, the keys get deleted). For my users database, I did a few things. I scrape people who follow similar artists, and more importantly people who engage with similar artists. I filter out people who haven't tweeted in over a week to get a higher ratio of active users. For each account I have (about 10) I can send 1,000 tweets mentioning 3 people each/day. I also have a separate DB of about 5,000 people who have liked or retweeted my own tweets. When I make a new track those are the people I hit first.

You could probably follow that model with adult stuff as long as you mine your users from the right sources and filter them appropriately.
