There are a variety of domain dispute options, but the one that works best to get a name transferred is the UDRP (https://www.icann.org/resources/page...-2012-02-25-en). The UDRP is based on trademark issues and if you are eligible is your fastest route to get the name transferred.

Alternatively, you could also pursue the URS (Uniform Rapid Suspension System (URS) - ADR Forum) which is a little bit faster and cheaper, but it won’t get the name transferred, it only suspends the name for as long as the current registrant has it registered.

Hope the above has been a helpful overview of some of the options as this may be handy for you for future reference.

Not sure how registering an expired domain makes him a scammer. I was simply referring to him promoting livecamnetwork in his sig, seemingly just to rub it in the face of Mark.

Mark just be a little creative. Register a domain that's ALMOST like the one you had. Misspell a word, substitute a word, add a 'S' or a 'the' or 'x'. Then put your stuff back up and go about your business.

Since I don't know the domain name or how much revenue the site/domain generated it's hard to really say how much fight it's worth going into, you know?

I know if it were ME, and the site was bringing in consistent dollars (Canadian or US) I would try to salvage that revenue by piggybacking a new domain onto the brand you had built before. If TheDynasty doesn't like it let him sue you. LOL

The only thing I've really learned from this thread is that both Mark and TheDynasty have way, way, too much time on their hands.

This is TheDynasty's business model, so I doubt he will give it back, he will have webmasters begging him for their domains everyday, if he is nice to them he won't make profit. I think it is time to move on, best not to invest anymore time in this.

If he wants to dream up new domains that are really "stand-alone" type names, and then sell them to people later who really want that domain, fantastic - good job.
