The manager told them that they had to buy something to use it. They declined, and went back to sit at the table without having purchased anything. Now that they had called attention to themselves, the manager was aware of their presence and aware that they were not paying customers. She approached them and offered to get them drinks or anything else they might want. They declined. They were asked to leave and they declined. The police came and asked them to leave and they declined. This is their own version.

You keep saying that these gentlemen should have been cooperative with the police and should have not argued with them. You say that, had they done so, this situation would have been immediately resolved and would have resulted in no arrests and the entire ordeal would have been a non-issue.

What you fail to understand is had they done this, they would have been handling the situation like "white people." Thusly, they would have been using what's known as "white privilege". The stunning part is that this no incident that, in a society that values common sense, really would be a non issue, has now turned into the Rosa Parks story of the 21st century.

The manager is gone and probably in fear for her life, so she is in hiding so we don't get the rest of the story. Which I would bet is a little different. Ive been a shitload of starbucks and Ive seen black people just hanging out as much as white people.

She asked them if they were going to order they said no, not we are waiting for someone else then we will order. As the manager you are responsible for sales. Now we are getting only one side of the story so who knows exactly what they said. But now a girl who worked these type of jobs as her career is out of a job for a long time, I doubt she is racist probably tired of being verbally beat up.

- Starbucks loses millions in revenue by closing shop on May 29th so they can virtue signal and spend a lot of money on "sensitivity training" 175.000 people about not throwing out blacks that would be acting out
- notoriously "anti" racist organizations such as ADL, among with Eric Holder, Al Sharpton and his second half cousin chime in to get a piece of the pie
- Donte and Rashon get a check that is likely to be well in six figures, much more than an average person earns in xx years for.... being black and acting out.

Please re-read the original source, of course the media spin was to make it look like they get one cent (from the city), but that completely ignores the fact that they get an off the court settlement from Starbucks. I repeat again - they get a paycheck from Starbucks for an undisclosed sum.

Once again for those who would have a reading comprehension problem - they get an out of court settlement from Starbucks - since a lawyer was involved from the day one, this will not be pennies, but most likely six figures, a lawyer typically keeps at least 30 pct. It's a grand shakedown for a couple of days work. A fact that most of the "do good", rainbows and unicorns mass media would not want you to know, that's why they spin it so hard.

It's a nice PR for the city, and a smart move to keep a goodwill gesture towards the black population that tends to view things through the eyes of their own racial identity.

Also, there is nothing more natural than discrimination, you're discriminated in every life situation, from the moment you're a kid playing with other kids on the playground, trying to date a girl that doesn't want you as a teenager, all the way till you're an adult and dealing with life on a daily basis.

I discriminate against people I don't want to deal with, same as you or just about anybody else does - it's called freedom of association. Absolutely nothing out of order about it - the only difference is that in my case most of them simply accept that as reality and can't or won't play any sort of race or "identity" card, as they're of the same kin or / and not entirely insane yet.
