Fantastic Internet price. Will not find that anywhere around here.

I think the TV would be comparable based on what you were saying, but yours includes Internet as well so it's irrelevant.

I do agree though, I haven't had cable for 2 years. I have an antenna that I bought for $50 flat fee, don't watch that either.

I'd rather read.

I pay 16€ per month for internet (fiber) and it is more than enough for me, never found it slow. Absolutely stable. Uploading shit to TUBES all the time.

I'm not suggesting sitting in front of the TV all the time is good. I am just saying if someone is paying a lot for cable it may be to just get certain channels so they can watch what they want to watch when they want to watch it. My brother would be an example of this. He has a full cable package with a few different movie channels like HBO. He works 50 hours a week and has two kids that he spends a ton of time with as well as a girlfriend he recently started dating. He only watches a few hours of TV per week, but he is willing to pay for everything so when he wants to watch it, he has a lot of choices.

All good dude :winkwink:

I do have to admit, I am jealous of your Internet access prices.

I have 100mbs down 10mbs up and I pay $70/mo for it.

I have a feeling internet access is about to get more expensive.

That's what happened in Canada. Data Caps, higher prices, and then offers for "unlimited" internet packages at higher rates. I know Cox Cable had caps, but never enforced them before. Not sure if that is or has changed? Just a matter of time as more and more cord cutting takes place. They will get their revenue somehow.

Stop that and your good, clearly the sites you get your news from are misinforming you :thumbsup

I doubt even Mark Prince and who ever, like you for instance could fix health care. I don't see a fix coming anytime soon. the NK issue is good enough this week for me :2 cents:

and your statement: Trump promised affordable healthcare but just passed a budget giving multinational corporations billions in tax breaks.

BTW your logic chain isn't long enough with facts to support this as any positive statement with actual meaning, okay?

you can write well thought out dissertations to complete your thoughts in a logical correlated trail to your conclusions but to be honest about it I have no intention of ever reading one. cool?

and pretty sure I could find this in any political rhetoric from any elected official. seriously you might consider getting a life. just sayin, you know... bitterness taints your life essences, the very essence you share with those you love. I'm sure you understand 10% or 20% or dirty water poured in to a glass with the corresponding percentage to complete 100 percent of clear water does not produce clear water. when you share of your 'self' you are sharing everything. is this something you wish to share? glee at the misfortunes of others? really? you sure got an interesting path to trot and teach....

:2 cents:

I've considered cutting off my cable, but for all the services we get, it's not that bad price-wise.

The one service I'd like to eliminate are the M-channels (TMN, the movie network), but it's the only way I can get HBO where I live, so I pay the $15.98 per month. It also let's me use their streaming on-demand portion. For now it's fine.

fiddy times saying that i cunt a4d a cord 2 cut... :(

Seriously though, I have the top tier package from sky that provides pretty much everything I want to see. Movies sports boxsets etc... I'm pretty happy with it - Costs a pound or so over £100 a month.

So we've been using Hulu TV for a week and it's been great.... All of the channels we want.

The only problem is in the past with cable TV we turn on the TV and it instantly goes on. Now we are using an Amazon Firestick, have to select Hulu, log in, and find a channel.... It's not a biggie though. We've instantly adjusted to it.

Rochard 05-05-2018 04:25 PM

PLUS... we get all of the content from Hulu, old TV shows..... Movies, etc.

Not cutting any cords anytime soon. I love my Directv with all pay channels and I buy the NBA and NFL pass to watch my AZ teams in Indiana. I don't watch tv all day long but I do DVR 2-4 hours of shows a night to watch after I finish work.

I tried streaming only for 2 weeks when I moved last dec and DirecTV was behind in moves. I hate the buffering BS and I have 100mps internet here.
