political threads are not made to make a point and 'convert' people from the other side of the political spectrum, instead they are posted out of self-assurance and in hopes of receiving pats on your back from your peers. these threads start with emotion provoking posts and blatantly loaded questions, and actually both sides of the political spectrum are guilty of it. either if you are far left or far right, you can see this is true.

nothing is bound to happen until all sides throw a 200-threads-per-day meltdown that alerts the mods ;)

With any business I have ever been involved in, it's always been a numbers game. Dating is no different. You have to look in order to find what you want and go through a lot of straw to find that needle. Some piles of straw may have more needles.
