This is so very screwed and unrealistic. I believe they will reply with a reasonable explanation and re-open my account and send me my card.

I have it here and I set a small limit so actually is more secure than my Chile card wich has no limits and I was scammed by thieves 2 weeks ago

I received a reply from Paxum and it states the account is closed and not to sign up for another account because it will also be closed. No reason provided. It was great working with you, Paxum. A great service I would recommend but this move was inappropriate.
