Robbie, how does Trump's more US government intervention in foreign affairs and nuclear strikes square with Libertarian core values of less government and no nuclear weapons?

It's Trump's mission to save jobs in China and make America pay for his ball that he said the Mexicans were going to pay for.

This is all good with Robbie, he's done a 180 from his view before of saying no wall unless the Mexicans pay for it and American Jobs first before Chinese.

It doesn't.

If I had my way we would pull all of our troops out of every corner of the world.

But I'm not operating on "core values" of ANY political ideology.

Right now I could either be living in the U.S. with Hillary Clinton as President with the economy still stagnating, no chance of talks with North Korea, still in a horrible Iranian nuclear deal which would give them nukes when it "sunsets", in the horrible for us Paris Climate Accords, etc., etc.

Instead I'm in the U.S. with a roaring economy, historic high level meetings already taking place between the U.S. and North Korea with a probable leaders meeting coming.

I like that a lot.

I'm still a Libertarian. If I were to FULLY agree with any President...he would have to take the Federal Govt. back to what it's supposed to be. End income tax. Take the govt. out of our lives when it comes to personal decisions such as drugs, prostitution, etc.
And it would have to be a President who had the balls to openly say the obvious about religion: It's all a bunch of primitive superstitions that have no place in the modern world.

But right now I'm loving watching President Trump turn Washington D.C. upside down and make the mainstream media's heads explode with every tweet. :winkwink:

Correct! You're operating on agreeing with whatever Trump says or does, no matter what, full stop.

Appreciated. I wasn't sorting that out on my own.

Obviously, I'm very against nuclear weapons, if this deal weren't about them specifically, I wouldn't be being so critical of the POTUS on this, regardless of who the POTUS is.

Who the POTUS matters to Robbie.

Obama improved the economy, Robbie said it was the worst evonomy ever.

When Obama was separating immigrant children from their parents Robbie said it was awful now that Trump is doing it Robbie thinks it's great.

In Robbie's eyes when Obama was President there was nothing he could do right now that Trump is President there's nothing he can do wrong.

The list is endless

I think we've had a pretty good and sometimes heated debate on this. :)
Thanks for offering a well thought out point of view. Gave me some pause for thought.

Looks like Trumps about to drop sanctions, accept North Korea as an Nuclear power and send them a few trillion of American tax payers money.

Lotta money for a photo opp

Where did you get the idea that the USA as "accepting" North Korea as a possessor of Nukes let alone the idea that North Korea is any kind of a "Power", as well as "dropping sanctions"?

None of these are true and my confidence level is high that none of the above will ever become true.

More sanctions were supposed to hit today directly as a result of North Korea using Chemical Nerve Agents to murder someone on foreign soil. In a slap in the face to Malaysia, USA has halted those sanctions.

Yes I know that at this point the new sanctions have been temporarily halted. That is a far cry form you statement about dropping sanctions. No sanctions against NK have been dropped and I personally do not think there will be as I do not think there will be any satisfactory conclusions to the "Summit". It is not a slap in the face to Malaysia either.

You apparently have a very active imagination or an anti American agenda. Just my opinion of course.

So, you only read the first two lines of my post; or do you think I made up the last part?
